This morning as I was watching the news, I found it "odd"
When you use quotation marks around a word, it means that you don't really believe the word you're using, or that you are quoting something someone else said. If you are trying to emphasize the word, either use and underline, italics, or bold. If none of these are available to you, it is common to use an asterisk (*) at the beginning and end of the word, or to us ALL CAPS.
Saying that, emphasizing the word odd here really doesn't make any sense.
his FIRST thing on his agenda for tuesday
Capital "T" for Tuesday.
was the investigation and closing of "Gitmo". Then today, Wednesday, he was going to start on the economy and other things.
Probably because ordering the prison shut down is a heck of a lot easier than fixing the economy.
Now just call me paranoid
If the shoe fits.
WHY IS HIS 1ST PRIORITY "THE FREEING" OF TERRORIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
1) It is not necessary to type a sentence in all caps to denote an exclamation. A single exclamation point at the end of a properly typed sentence is sufficient.
2) There is no reason I can think of to have quotation marks around "the freeing."
3) Since there are multiple people in Gitmo, the word "terrorist" should have an "s" at the end.
4) Obama isn't "freeing" anyone. He is closing down the prison. The question of what to do with everyone there is the reason it's not happening overnight.
Then all of our country's issues comes next!!!
Because "issues" is plural, there is no "s" at the end of "come."
