Beware of any reports of 'human type' life being discovered in space. At its worse, it will be a lie. At its best, it will be demon related in some way.

And that's the story of how fundies destroy the world:
Alien: "Hello Earthlings, we come in peace!"
FUNDIE: "DIE DEMON!!!!!!!!!!"
"Beware of any reports of 'human type' life being discovered in space."
PROTIP: The anime series "DearS" is not a documentary. If only more teachers at school were like Mitsuka-sensei though...! X3

Like I say, the anime series "DearS" is not a documentary. Although the slave race colony's chief 'Barker' Ruvi is demonically hot . :9
Seems to be a lot of pre-emptive damage control coming from fundies lately. The "No hope of an Earth-like planet being discovered" has moved on to "even if they did find one it won't be real, it'll be a scientific scam, Satanic trick or both"
They've got lots of time to build their defense as, at best we're just getting to the point of spotting planets that share Earths habital Zone and they're all giants. Earth sized planets don't block enough sunlight to be spotted,,,yet.
Personally I'd find it depressing if we learned humans were the only intelligent lifeforms in the whole universe. I think it'd be cool to have some friendly non-human people to talk to who can talk back, throw parties with, sleepovers, swap ideas with, have sex with , etc.
ok, stop watching Star Trek, any of the spinoffs, Star Gate and all of its spinoffs, Dr Who, hmm, just any sci-fi OK ?
And THERE ARE NO ALIENS UNDER THE DENVER AIRPORT !
um, wait ? how about small elephants with two trunks ? They were quite a problem in Footfall. Oh, just a minute, that was fiction too.
One of the best (and quit old, going back to the 50s) science fiction concepts about aliens is this: they've been here, made contact with some but can't reveal themselves to us worldwide because it'll destroy established organized religions claims.
The scary thing about this is Billy Graham said he believed there were aliens but they believed in Jesus too. He was a confident and advisor to many presidents,,, not trying to spark a conspiracy or anything,,,just saying.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
