misterchipotle: I'm sure many of us here are quite familiar with the fundies obsession with Heath.
I can only imagine that people like MROD see him as part of the much-feared "Gay Agenda" because of that one role he played. Forget that Heath was an actor and was playing a character that wasn't himself, or that he's played many other characters with good and bad characteristics. No, he's been tarred forever in their eyes.
Not to mention the speed with which Arsefly over at FundiePedia labelled Heath's death as yet more proof of "Holywood Values".

This year I will guarantee that on Feb 22nd the movies that win will be only about GAYS... That movie called "Milk" will take home top honors and I do predict that Heath Ledger will win as well.
Oooookay...if Milk wins, it's because it's a compelling story about a man's struggle to bring about change...and because it's a damn good movie. Not because it's GAY. And poor Heath. Plays ONE gay character, and he's painted as gay forevermore. On that note, the man had more balls than you could ever hope to have.

Tom Hanks played a gay man with AIDS in "Philadelphia" and he's been happily married to Rita Wilson for many years. Jake Gyllenhaal played Heath's boyfriend in "Brokeback Mountain" (funny how the fundies forget about him) and as far as I know, he's still dating Reese Witherspoon. FAIL.
