Definitely a result of the fall. Humans were designed to live forever. Menopause is a clear sign that a woman is not going to live forever.

It's also a clear sign that there is no way women could have gone on having children for 9+ centuries back in biblical times, despite you fundies insisting otherwise. What, does god make women with less eggs now?
Living forever and breeding forever are two different things, wouldn't you say?
And impotence is a sign that a man isn't gonna live forever, but you 'fix' that with Viagra.
No, it's a clear sign that evolution has found a way to avoid passing on harmful mutations to the next generation by stopping ovulation before a woman's eggs can be damaged by mutagens such as radiation. It's generally believed that a girl is born with her entire supply of eggs already in her ovaries (although mouse experiments suggest this may not be entirely true). They never divide after birth (to avoid passing on accumlated errors), and she passes them on quickly to her daughters before they can be damaged.
And yet we have the innate ability to multitask, more stamina than men, a much higher pain threshold than men, and we outlive men by a significant number of years.
Still think you're superior?

Wrong. In the early OT after the fall men still were said to live for several hundred years.

No, it isnt.
"Definitely a result of the fall."
There was no fall. The Babble is utter bullshit.
"Humans were designed to live forever."
That is correct. But I am not done with my work yet, so expect some death before we're free. A few months more, maybe a year. The logic bomb's fuse is lit.

Once the world system is fully functional, there is hardly anything that cannot be repaired.
Menopause could be a blessing, though, annoying, but a blessing. But how the hell is menopause a sign we won't live forever? Death is a sure sign of that..
Definitely a result of the fall
I once posted a whole list of misfortunes followed by this phrase
"Car wouldn't start this morning"
Definitely a result of the fall
"Attractive woman ignored me"
Definitely a result of the fall
Burned the toast/evening meal
Definitely a result of the fall
etc etc etc
Okay, so in a non fall world there would be no death and so people would keep increasing in number but since you cannot die you cannot move...
We are not bacteria... We die for others to live.
Please explain the meaning of the following passage from Genesis chapter 3:
'And the LORD God said, "The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever." So the LORD God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken. After he drove the man out, he placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life.'
-- Genesis 3:22-24
To my ears, it sounds like Adam and Eve did NOT have the ability to live forever before the Fall, and could only have acquired this power by eating from the OTHER tree in the Garden of Eden.
It's the other way around, dearie. Menopause is a clear sign that we have lived LONGER than we were designed to do. If we were designed to live forever, women would have new eggs growing when the old ones were discarded.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
