Y'know, with all the Tornados, droughts and hurricanes in the Bible Belt you'd think you Fundies would stop badmouthing the Wiccans.
I mean shit like that shouldn't happen in Godland. Right?
Water-drinkers like you aren't even worthy of going to Gre'Thor, to be devoured by Fek'lhr, you
be eaten by the planet-sized galactic terror known as...:
...Zolgear! That which even Cthulhu himself fears.
Oh, this? It was something I found on a forum related to arcade enthusiasts who collect, restore & play arcade games (I'm a major MAME player; I don't have the spare ca$h or space to be able to have any such machines).
That pic was from a thread by the forum's admin who is a major Namco* geek; in his youth, he had been addicted to the 6-seat 'mini-cinema' game "Galaxian III", and in particular the update "Galaxian IV: Attack of the Zolgear", and today (as in much older) he was able to buy it from the arcade's manager. The thread detailed how he & a friend had to dismantle the monster (almost 'Zolgear'-esque in size!), then find someplace to store such (until he could have an extension to his external 'gameroom' built to house it).
As an avid collector of anything Namco**-related, he was able to acquire various items relating to such, and that pic was from a Japanese databook containing development info, design drawings, production & programming material etc.
Like I say, 'Zolgear' is a planet-sized horror that is the main target/boss in the videogame; certainly enough to make even Cthulhu crap himself inside out in pure insane terror, just before
was eaten by such!
...oh, whilst said admin is having that extension built, he's currently working on transferring the video/game data from the two laserdiscs/ROM boards, so that it can be played on a PC via the 'Daphne'*** laserdisc game emulator (with the visuals either on DVD or .MPEG on the HD)
This is what the game cabinet looks like.
It's from said forum thread)
This is how the gameplay goes.
*- I love playing Namco arcade games via MAME. "Galaxian", "Galaga", "Gaplus", and "Xevious" (& the unreleased 3D version "Solvalou"), with the 'Nazca Lines' included in such.
**- I wonder if he's been to the UK (he's Belgian), specifically London, as opposite the Houses of Parliament on the Thames Embankment, outside the old GLC HQ is the huge 'London Eye' ferris wheel, which is a stone's throw away from the
Namco Wonderpark arcade
? (formerly down Shaftesbury Avenue, near Piccadilly Circus; where I first experienced both "Galaxian III & IV" games just over a decade ago). A huge place, almost as big as the Trocadero (Leicester Square, near Piccadilly Circus), and would surely be like Mecca to him.
***- Mainly for playing the Don Bluth laserdisc games "Dragon's Lair", "Space Ace", and "Dragon's Lair II: Time Warp" on PC, but other developers have coded different laserdisc games for this emulator too.
Damn, I like a go at your library Anon-e.
There is no hell you stupid fuck.
