Quote# 57623

Well not trying to start a conspiracy here but stating the facts.I am from Illinois as well as Obama. The day after he was elected on Nov 5,2008 in the Illinois Lottery the pick 3 came up with the number 6-6-6. Coincidence ???????? Perhaps but creepy to see that happen here especially from his state. I think he is a pre-cursor to the AC but he is not the AC. This was mentioned in a thread here before, but since we are talking about Obama fulfills ancient islamic prophecy just thinking here !

Don't you get tired of this?

Darwin's Bullfrog

er... Yes?

By the way, just one question mark would suffice. Eight is a sign of mental instability. Then again, this whole post is a sign of mental instability.

The usual argumentum ex recto.

Well, the day after yesterday, I had the misfortune to read some utter shit!

They have meds that can help you with that paranoia, you know.

a little strange that Rapture Retards are putting faith in 'ancient islamic prophecy'.

i thought the word of the one true god was the only word?

It's not bullshit. The Illinois Lottery Evening Pick 3 number on November 5 was 6-6-6. It's also a coincidence. There's a 1-in-1,000 chance of that number coming up, as any number from 0-0-0 to 9-9-9 has an equal chance of being picked. And what's so special about 6-6-6? You fail statisics and probability. You're at the low end of the normal curve.

@ Moondog,

You refuted your own statement, it's not coincidental, there is a chance that those numbers were going to be chosen.

Also, Islam isn't ancient technically, and the only prophecy is about the Madhi, who is Muhammad back on Earth for judgement day. Obama doesn't fulfill the prophecy because his name doesn't contain Muhammad, which is in fact a very common name.

So yeah, total rectal discharge.

Again? DO you have any idea how many states have had 666 come up as a winning lottery number?
In just Pensylvania alone, the number 666 has been drawn by the Pennsylvania Lottery 12 times."

Sister Immaculata

There's an ancient Islamic prophecy that features the Illinois Lottery Pick 3? That's pretty impressive prophesying.

Sister Immaculata

"In just Pensylvania alone, the number 666 has been drawn by the Pennsylvania Lottery 12 times."

And that doesn't strike you as...significant???????? Think about what street the White House Is On!!!!11!!! And 12 is six times two, so it's like two-thirds of the prophecy have already been fulfilled!!!111!

I think I would be good at being a conspiracy theorist. I just can't think of any respectable way to practice this kind of a hobby.

You know, these people will rant and rave about how evil numerology is, but show them 3 sixes anywhere NEAR each other, and they will promptly void themselves. Funny, isn't it?

Allegory for Jesus

The odds for that is 1/1000. Not too steep, especially when you consider that fundies would run with it if this occurred in such a wide variety of places that it becomes meaningless.
By place:
-In Illinois (where he previously worked)
-In Hawaii (where he was born)
-In D.C. (where he will serve as President)
-In Massachusetts (where he got his law degree)
-In New York (where he got his undergraduate degree; also: 9/11).
By time:-Any day near the election or anniversary of the election.
-Any day near the inauguration or its anniversay.
-Any day near Obama's birthday.
-Any day near a religious or national holiday.

The fact that it is clear that conservative-religious blowhards would invariably bring up this otherwise irrelevant data if it had even the slightest semblance of a connection dilutes an already pathetically unremarkable coincidence even further. (Side note: they also would have freaked out if 911 appeared).

You want a example of how little the odds are against that? Play Yahtzee.

If you play one game of Yahtzee with three other people you'll see three of the five dice come up one number several time. You'll see 666 in your first game probably. Even if you loose two dice, that's how unusual that is

Idiot never played cards either
