Agreed, but there is compelling evidence: http://www.genesispark.com/genpark/ancient/ancient.htm http://www.dinosaursandman.com/index.php?option=com_zoom&Itemid=15&catid=13
I have nothing against science, what I do have a problem with is the ideologically laden speculation based on philosophic suppositions and presuppositions which is trumped up as science, even though the scientific method is not employed.

So do I. I'm glad we agree, jmsnooks.
While we're basking in the afterglow of agreement, let me ask you, doesn't it just twist your socks when creationists mask their unfounded theses under the guise of science by calling it intelligent design and touting it as a scientific theory?
Don't you sometimes feel like smacking the heads a few creationist "scientists" together and screaming at them to get a clue?
Your "compelling" evidence is nothing more than the same old collection of known hoaxes (I'm surprised I didn't see the Paluxy Tracks or Zuiyo-maru carcass trotted out!), probable hoaxes, misidentifications, and shit vague enough to be anything. Try harder next time...
jmsnooks shows a level of arrogance in his fail that's worldclass.
I have debated with people far more educated and informed than you, college professors, biochemists, biologists, etc. and all of the arguments for any given stage of evolutionism are predicated on special pleading and ethos based arguments
Definitely a five.
I have nothing against science,
We wouldn't know, since you're only attacking strawman versions of science.
You have nothing against bullshit science or fable depiction. Your links have been both debunked by arceologists and historians who know a hell of a lot more about these items, who made them and what their culture was than any creationist will ever know.
Those always avoid other depictions that show totally unknown (mythological or badly rendered) animals from the same era. See, Real scientest don't throw the uncollaberating things away because they have professional ethics or they afraid of being called out by a peer.
jmsnooks and others who use these various "dinosaur" arguments miss an important point: when dinosaurs went extinct, and indeed, whether they went extinct at all, is irrelevant to the ToE. Coelacanths were thought to have gone extinct at the same time as the dinosaurs, and we found one alive and well in 1938. Nobody said " uh oh, there goes Darwin's whole theory". His link, with stuff about the old Paluxy Man-Track nonsense and bells found in coal, is meaningless.
jmshnooks wouldn't know the scientific method if it bit him on the arse. Citing creationist websites as evidence simply adds to your failure.
EDIT: Speaking of turd polishing , did any of you catch the episode of Mythbusters where they do exactly that? Apparently you get the best shine out of carnivore turds.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
