These are not real people as we define the term.
What the fuck happened to "do unto others as you would have do unto you"? Wasn't that the "golden rule" of christianity? Why is it you call yourself a christian but ignore what you "savior" supposedly teaches?
Humans, yes. People, no
Humans are people. Just because they don't follow your particular religion does not make them lesser beings, nor does being christian make you superior to anyone else. You don't get to define the term "people" in relation to anyone but yourself.
This is the same kind of ideology that brought about the Nazi Holocaust and other religio-ethnic genocides.
Pray for them, they need it so badly.
What is praying going to do for them? All it does is make you feel less guilty about cheering on their deaths, because at least you prayed for them, whatever else happen to them is their fault. It's so much easier to say a short, and most likely insincere prayer than it is to try to make a difference.
They just don't see people, suffering and pain the same as we do.
How do you know this? How do you know that you wouldn't see things just the same after a brutal 40 year occupation, where your occupiers see you a subhuman things no better than animals. For that matter ho do you see pain and suffering? It seems to me that your all for pain and suffering as long as it's not christians or jews doing the suffering, it seems to me that you would tacitly approve, if not outright advocate inflicting pain and suffering on palestinians, seeing as how you don't think that they are actual people.
You have to wonder how much hate it takes to change a real person into this.
And why do they hate Israel? It's not because they are jews, it's not even really that much of a religious conflict. They hate israel because for years they have seen their countrymen expelled, terrorized, and murdered because hardline zionists say that "god" gave them that land for them alone.
Let's not forget that there were zionist terrorist operatingin british palestine before 1948. Let's not forget that the state of israel has oppressed and occupied Gaza and the West Bank for over 40 years. Let's not forget that even after they withdrew from Gaza the IDF has maintained a veritable siege on the area, deciding how much, if any food, fuel and medicine is allowed in.
I dare say if you lived through the experiences outlined above then your reaction to it would be much the same. I highly doubt that if the land you live in was occupied that you would just sit there and take it without fighting back, so why do you expect and demand that the people of Gaza to? The Israel/Palesitne conflict is not and cannot be reduced to Israel=good, Palestine=bad.
