Everlasting torture is the judgment of a perfect God on the sins of men. I don't think you are in a position to complain about it, so I would start making plans on how you can avoid it. Or you can be cast there, and feel vindicated, that you are soooo wronged.

Hitler, Stalin, and Pol Pot were lawmakers as well. Using your logic, it's okay that they killed ~12 million, 20+ million, and ~1 million respectively.

And yes, no matter how you paint it, and pretty it up, there is no sin, ABSOLUTELY no sin that can justify eternal torment. A set amount of time, perhaps, or with the possibility to repent and redeem, possibly. But to just chuck away to be tormented for the rest of time is not the act of a loving and just god. It's the act of a sadist.
Okay, those who make laws aren't bound by them. Kewl. It's awesome when authoritarians are this honest about the fact that they believe that a tyrannical dictatorship is fine as long as they approve of the dictator.
