It might help if you quit trying to foist abstinence-only classes onto high school kids, particularly in really vulnerable areas where the school districts are so poor they'll take anything that looks like assistance, and let them learn how to actually use the contraception correctly.

You know what? I don't want children. Ever. Thus, planned parenthood is a blessing. I think that they should get all the money that is going towards pregnancy centers that guilt women into keeping the fetus.

My abortion was free, so that throws a very large wrench into your so called, "plan". My Birth Control was also free. PPH also offers prenatal care and pap smears. Way to fail horribly.

This follows from the fundy theory that condom use means more (not less) kids, which means men hate women more, which means they turn to each other more, which means they turn gay, which means condom use promotes homosexuality. Those 'stupid, irresponsible, lazy, immoral people' you speak of are going to go out and have sex regardless of if they're given contraceptives or not. The only difference is, when we give them contraceptives, we're actually trying to STEM the tide of unwanted pregnancies, so there AREN'T abortions.

Don't have a link to back it up. While I was watching a show about government funded religiously backed abstinence only education in New Mexico, they talked to a PP spokesman. He said that five percent of PP services are abortions. 5% fucking percent. Cha-ching?

Because they have never been taught to use it, since the fundie wannabe morality police forced comprehensive sex education out of high schools so they could replace it with abstinence only sex ed which has been show time after time to be inherently flawed. You want to know why? Because it is the nature of people to screw, and no amount of church, bible study, or abstinence only sex ed will ever change that.
