Blind faith is the only thing that can help Christians. Christians who have attempted to apply logic to our religion have turned Atheist like the scientists. We must not let that happen to ourselves.

I can tell you a true story about blind faith. I heard this from my driving instructor when I was learning to drive.
There was a very religious woman behind the wheel driving in the middle of the town around the rush hour and police stopped her because her car did not stay on road and almost caused couple of serious accidents. It turned out that she was not drunk but the woman had trusted God so much that she had let the God himself to take over the driving and let go of the streering wheel.
Lesson: Blind faith is dangerous for the logical people who have to live here too.
Ok so here's what I'm thinking. Logic is turning more and more people away from faith, right? So that means logic is bad. Logically, the right thing to do would be to completely avoid acting logically.
"Blind faith is the only thing that can help Christians."
Actually, yes. According to their own Bibles, even.
"Faith is the substance of things hoped for; the evidence of things unseen" (Hebrews 11:1, emphasis added).
Lesson: Faith itself is your evidence. You guys need to stop trying to argue your faith logically because nobody who doesn't share your faith will be convinced by your evidence. Thanks for playing, though - we have some lovely parting gifts.
Poe? I think not. Having grown up in that mindset. I heard remarkably similar statements made, even from the podium. The need to elevate raw faith to something special beyond other human endeavors runs deep. There is never any addressing why have faith in this evidence-free idea cmpared to that evidence-free idea. What is being honored is the one that the posess and which allows them to come out like bandits, eternal salvation and forgivness for their earthly guilts.
Why would anyone willlingly abandon such a cosmological position? I sitting here thinking that I am going to awarded eternal bliss and you are going to be in eternal torment. Why should I even endanger that construct for a moment? I have everthing to lose and nothing to gain.
Except perhaps honesty and a respect for the truth.
Confused?
