Exactly. Evo-atheists like Attenborough don’t want to know what God said, so they invent a fairy-tale to make their sins easier to bear.
This guy is in his 80’s though, so he’ll find out just how wrong he was soon enough. He’ll wish all he had to worry about was an eye worm when his time comes.

Exactly. Fundies invent fairy tales such as Jesus Christ to make their lives and their fear of TEH DETH! easier to bear.
Not that they'll find out how "wrong" they are, when nothing happens at death. Oops, sorry...they will figure out how wrong they were when they meet Allah.
@Tracer (and anyone else who might be wondering about the eye-worm), a snip from here http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2009/jan/27/david-attenborough-science :
Telling the magazine that he was asked why he did not give "credit" to God, Attenborough added: "They always mean beautiful things like hummingbirds. I always reply by saying that I think of a little child in east Africa with a worm burrowing through his eyeball. The worm cannot live in any other way, except by burrowing through eyeballs. I find that hard to reconcile with the notion of a divine and benevolent creator."
Speaking of fairy tales.

If we don't want to know what "God" said, why have many of us read the bible (some multiple times)? The thing is not that we don't want to know what he "said", but that we can't believe that he said them. Given the bit about worm Zabimaru provided here, I have to agree with Attenborough. I know you guys will claim it's the fall, but come on. That's just cruel.
Well, hell, I know *I* always find threats incredibly charming. I'm sure Sir Attenborough will, too!
"This guy is in his 80’s though, so he’ll find out just how wrong he was soon enough."
Fundies: wishing for the death of others since 6000ish B.C.
"Evo-atheists like Attenborough"
Evo-atheists? What the fuck is that?
"so they invent a fairy-tale"
You mean like a certain fairy-tale that was created over 2,000 years ago?
"This guy is in his 80’s though, so he’ll find out just how wrong he was soon enough."
Because he didn't sacrifice to Zeus?
"He’ll wish all he had to worry about was an eye worm when his time comes."
Eye worms?...
This guy is in his 80’s though, so he’ll find out just how wrong he was soon enough. He’ll wish all he had to worry about was an eye worm when his time comes.
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the sound of one hand fapping.
WTF is an "eye worm"?
EDIT: nvm... ::barf::
Oh how you chistrads love yourselves, but interestingly you forgot to mention the death threats that Dr Atenbrough had been recieveing from spastic christards like you, you should be fucking ashamed. Dr Attenbrough is an intellectual god in comparison to to (hell hes an intellectual god to me, and he lectured me at uni) but even so
wishing death and misery on one of the nicest blokes on tv, you truly are a horrible little peice of shit arn'nt you
You do not disrespect Sir Dave. Seriously. I know argument from authority is a fallacy, but if Sir Dave expressed a view I diasagreed with, it would at the very least make me re-examine my position very carefully.
As for the OP, his brand of so-called Christianity is just selfishness, arrogance, schadenfreude and laziness wrapped up in a religious packet. I reject it utterly, and for my money, so would Jesus.
Sir David Attenborough has done more with his life to benefit mankind through presenting the wonders of the natural world, than ToGodBeTheGlory could dream of doing.
If ToGodBeTheGlory bothered to watch some of Sir Dave's docos he might actually learn something useful instead of basing his life around the literal belief in a bunch of bronze age myths.
I know what "God" said. It's all bull.
Fundies love to imagine that anyone who doesn't accept their faith is ignorant of it. The very idea that someone could know perfectly well what they believe and still think of it as so much crap-in-a-can seems to be intolerable to a lot of them.
"Fundies like TGBTG don’t want to know people can dismiss what "God" said, so they invent a fairy-tale that "evo-atheists" are ignorant to make their own stupidity easier to bear."
Easy fix.
Because he stated that what sort of kind and loving god would use a burrowing worm to blind a child?
Its very simple... If I am blinding children irrespective of methodology we can come to the conclusion that I am not kind nor loving.
[Evo-atheists like Attenborough don’t want to know what God said...]
You're assuming that nobody with religion has ever become an atheist, and that no atheist has ever read the Bible.
[...so they invent a fairy-tale to make their sins easier to bear.]
Fairy tales don't have evidence to support them. The ToE does.
Project, much?
[This guy is in his 80’s though, so he’ll find out just how wrong he was soon enough. He’ll wish all he had to worry about was an eye worm when his time comes.]
So you're saying that David Attenborough is destined for eternal suffering...and you're looking forward to it?
Reread the Bible. Blaspheming the Attenborough is an unforgivable sin.
Ok, an exaggeration. But when was the last time a fundie made nature films as good as him? Don't give a shit about God's creation, do you?
How the hell can one talk badly about Attenborough?
So TGBTG: Why don't I take you on a nice trip and drop you off in Britain? I'll let everybody know who you are and where I dropped you off. America will be better off without you.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
