How long has the Bible been around? And atheists have yet to prove that one, single, solitary word of it is untrue! They can't prove that God does not exist because all evidence and scientific facts support the fact that he does!

But you don't give a shit about what kind of home the baby might be born into, do you, asshole? You don't give a shit if it's raised in an abusive home where drugs, alcohol, or religion are abused (yes there is religious abuse - it's called being a fundy Christian); you don't give a shit if it goes without necessities of life because of poverty.

Conservative Christians don't want to raise/adopt babies they are trying to 'save'; they instead look down their oversized noses & sneer 'you should have stayed abstinent'; they try to ban birth control; if the pregnancy is a result of rape/incest, their attitude is 'why punish the fetus'.

It's homosexuals' point of view that matters on homosexual marriage. As marriage is a legal contract between two consenting adults, it ought to be gender neutral, or it's discrimination. I was able to marry a man. George Takei and Stephen Fry ought to have the same right.

Abortion is really the removal of a lump of cells, slightly mammal-shaped, that does not have a functioning nervous system and is therefore not legally alive. Therefore, you can't murder it.

What rights do fundies want for born babies? Right to shelter, food, clean water? Right to loving parental care and proper medical care? Right to evidence-based education? Right to stimulation, physical and mental training? Or don't you care about the LIFE of the baby after it's born?

What's right about murdering innocent babies in Yemen, in Gaza, in Myanmar, in Syria, in Flint Michigan? What's right about murdering innocent babies through criminal negligence, by refusing to take them to the doctor when they are sick?

Besides, conservative women have as many abortions as liberal women, they are just more secretive about them.

Atheists want people to think for themselves, not mindlessly repeating what their pastor bleated from the pulpit. If a Christian is comfortable in his or her religion, I respect that. I do not respect a fundie trying to push their religion (which they often don't know that much about to begin with) onto innocent babies, and onto us not-so-innocent non-babies.
