Quote# 58048

I bloody hope not!

But unfortunately the way things are going i suspect within the next 10-15 years Britain will have our very own Black PM.

I suspect some "positive discrimination " will be used to get a black PM.

Sadly most ethnics in high authority positions such as commisioned officers in the army, cabinet ministers etc, only get where they are because they are promoted to push "ethnic minority quotas".

They basically get promoted so they cam be used as propaganda.

Most BNP members in authority positions also only get where they are because of discrimination, incidentally.

It's funny because the BNP is one big scam. Their leaders know they will never ever get in a position of any real power, yet they keep asking their members, who are already struggling financially, to keep making donations for this and that, all the while they themselves live on luxurious farms with pigs named, reportdely, Anne and Frank...

The PM could be green or purple as long as its not Gordon Brown or any of this current shower.

@ #949796; trouble is, the alternatives don't look any better (or even much different). A uniformly dismal lot, our current crop of politicians.

#949796 - Oh shush. Would David Cameron do any better? I think not!

@ Racist guy - next 10-15 years Britain will have our very own Black PM.
Be about damn time. Or maybe another woman. Or, or - how about a gay, black, woman?

Is it just me or is the BNP E-Thug Brigade holding a week-long party at Yahoo Answers? A lot of their quotes have been cropping up lately.

Personally I've long suspected that Britain could cope well enough with a black PM. It's a black royal that might really make the old guard squawk.

Except historically they were never allowed into those positions despite often being superior soldiers to "white people" since a lot of the "ethnic regiments" were professional standing soldiers rather than "Tommy from Yorkshire Dales who worked as a milkman". This meant that "ethnics" who were very very qualified often did not achieve the rank they deserved and this only changed during WW2 when they found out that a meritocracy is more useful than just filling up your ranks with your nobles who tended to be thick as inbred breeze blocks.

Also lots of ethnic minorities are in the country as citizens. You are going to have to show them that you are listening to their concerns rather than just running on what whitey wants.

So what's your excuse for being alowed to mix with civilised people?

I don't agree with quotas, be they ethnicially, religiously, or sexually-based, as I believe *only* in merit being a valid way to the top.

However, this is just wrong. Quotas predate such people gaining various offices, and there is nothing to suggest that a black person would require "positive discrimination" to get to No. 10 (which I presume is what's being referred to).
