I pledge...to NOT pledge ANYYYTHING to President Obama.
I remember Halle Barry saying she would pick up paper cups and trash, anything Obama says, she'll do.
Why wasn't this pledge made sooner? Why not during the last 8 years? How nice would it have been if all these same celebrities made a you tube video urging people to stop Bush bashing and to unite then?
They are no different than a spoiled child throwing a temper tantrum...as soon as they get their way, they're happy and lovely again and can't understand why everyone else isn't as happy as they are.

Maybe because you guys are the only ones who liked Bush?
And this continuous use of the spoiled children argument is getting old. We're not the ones whining about the outcome of the election and spreading malicious lies about the president.
If just after 9/11 Bush had asked for that kind of sacrifice, he would have gotten it. Instead he said, "Go shopping. Go on holiday." And then he attacked a country for the sole reason that they threatened his father (and we all know about Bush's 'daddy' issues). He blew his chance completely. I seriously doubt Obama will do the same.
Bush lied, thousands died. That's okay with you though, because they had already been born. It's hard to unite behind one who lacks competence or a conscience. It reflects badly on the rest of us. Since you don't seem to understand the difference between moral outrage and a temper tantrum, come over to my house and I'll hurl a can of soup at your head.
After 9-11, the world wept with America. We felt a sort of solidarity in the face of the terrorist threat. Within six months, George W. Bush had effectively squandered this goodwill with his administration's vendetta against Saddam Hussein and Iraq.
He lied to get into a war with a country that had nothing to do with 9-11 and many people at the time protested that this was unnecessary and would drag the USA into a quagmire.
Retards like you cheered him on and told those who objected to shut up. In retrospect, who has turned out to be correct on the Iraqi issue? It sure wasn't the right wing fundies.
Now, eight years later, when we are finally rid of this man and his corrupt administration, the whole world is rejoicing, and you fundies are behaving like spoiled kids.
You don't want to help get America going again, fine. Go fuck yourselves. Just keep the hell out of the way, the adults have work to do.
Who really give a fuck what you pledge to do or not do. You are irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. Your personal belief in a non-scriptural "secret rapture" is evidence enough that your opinions on the world's future mean nothing to any rational person. Now, go make sure your personal stash of end-times food and water are up to snuff and just hide in your basement and wait for Jesus. In a few months, your food and water will run out, at which point you will either die of dehydration, or come to the realization that reality has just bit you in the ass and deconvert to rational thought processes.

Well, actually in the last 8 years lots of celebrities did come out and support bush, just different ones. It isnt a condition of celebrity that they have to support every politician. The ones who backed bush are quiet now, but that is understandable.

Oh, the fucking irony. Bush in power causing all kinds of problems and you are happy. Common sense takes over and you have a series of whiny hissy fits.
You lost. Get over it. If you were even slightly patriotic you'd get behind the president rather than constantly work against him.
"How nice would it have been if all these same celebrities made a you tube video urging people to stop Bush bashing and to unite then?"
Except Bush was killing our soldiers for no reason and making a fucked-up mess of America. Why the fuck WOULD anyone urge people to unite behind him?
"I pledge...to NOT pledge ANYYYTHING to President Obama."
Off course, if during the last 8 years someone had said that about Bush you'd have called them an evil baby-eating liberal.
A lot of celebs really are like spoiled children.
Seriously, supporting Bush (while not good) is not necessarily fundie.
Why are people giving this "5" ratings? It's Republican, not fundie.
I pledge...to NOT pledge ANYYYTHING to President Obama.
Fine. Whatever makes you happy.

Well aside from the blind obedience, if people would pick up their garbage, things would be a bit better.

Y'mean like Britney saying that the people are obligated to follow their leader without question or criticism? Look, we're sorry that the only ones that would stand up for him were insane.

Sounds familiar...like 8 years ago, when you guys were jumping for joy over Bush being elected, and screeching like harpies any time someone questioned him.
"I pledge...to NOT pledge ANYYYTHING"
Is your Y key broken?

I do recall a lot of people saying just that, and now they're whining that the other side is making the same demand now the shoe's on the other foot. Sucks, doesn't it?
"They are no different than a spoiled child throwing a temper tantrum..."
Different FROM...</grammarnazi> Anyway, I could say exactly the same about your side.
The only thing Governor Bush asked of the American people was that they keep spending money after the WTC attacks and to die in Iraq for Big Oil.
I suspect President Obama will ask the American people to do more positive things to help the country.
I pledge...to NOT pledge ANYYYTHING to President Obama.
That's good, actually. The President is supposed to be the servant of the People, not the other way around. Also, if you did swear an oath to him, you'd be disobeying Jesus himself. (Matthew 5:34)

Because Bush was an incompetent president, who screwed up prosecuting a just war (retaliation against the Taliban), started an illegal war, destroyed our economy, and violated the civil rights of Americans. Not only that, he condoned torture and illegal imprisonment.

Wanting to have a President who actually cares about the Constitution and what it stands for, as well as one who actually wants to improve the lot of Americans is not a good thing?
'I remember Halle Barry saying she would pick up paper cups and trash, anything...'
After 'Catwoman' I would have said the same...
In the 2003 State of the Union Address, Bush asked every American to go out and do volunteer work.
You guys are so blinded with hate that you fail to listen to the words of your messiah.
"Why wasn't this pledge made sooner?"
Because, unlike Obama, Bush was an idiot, and nobody in his right mind would endorse him except for the upper 1%.

Perhaps because they considered Bush to be a prson that wasn´t worth to be POTUS, especially because of things like his invasion of Iraq, Patriot Act, his negligience of environmenrtalism and many other things ;)

Hm,
usually you christian fundamentalists are more like these children. I cannot remember any liberal calling Bush an abomination or someone sent by Satan.
In contrast to you christian fundamentalists who, since Obama won the battle constantly talk about him being evil, the antichrist and that he would lead the USA into a war against god
Sounds alot like spoiled kids behavior to me
;)
I pledge...to NOT pledge ANYYYTHING to President Obama.
Now now. Temper temper.
They are no different than a spoiled child throwing a temper tantrum...
Dreadful.
