darwin a 'genius', ...way to worship your god again in grand idolatry, darwinists. [[roll]]

I wonder if they are gonna put signs around his 'heritage home' celebrating his/their incest heritage, showing all the places he banged his cousin in his incest/heritage home? Oh wait, that would be bad for PR and when something is bad for PR darwinists just sweep it under the rug and pretend it doesn't exist...so guess they won't be doing that.

when something is bad for PR darwinists just sweep it under the rug and pretend it doesn't exist

Like the Catholic molestation?

I'm not sure what his personal life has to do with the things he postulated that have been shown to be correct. Or even the ones that have been shown to be incorrect. Science does not depend on the personal life of the scientist unless it causes him/her to commit fraud, which is a special case.

I've never seen anyone deny that anyway, so what does it matter to you?

...way to worship your god again in grand idolatry...

You betcha. How big is that cross around your neck?

...celebrating his/their incest heritage...

Remind me again who Adam and Eve's children had sex with to bring forth future generations.

Actually, the marriage of cousins was quite common and was not considered "incest" in 19th century Europe. It was also common in stories contained in the Buy-bull.

No incest=no scandal

Ah yes, incest. Now, remind me who`s daughters got their old man drunk, and went in and banged himÉ

Hint: His wife was turned into a pillar of salt.

Three letters... begins with `L`, and ends with `T`

Still didn`t get it... Ò`is the middle letter...

Here`s some advice, before you make an ass out of yourself, do some reading:

(Bah! Sorry, I don`t know how to make a link on this board)

You don't have any arguments against evolution so you resort to name calling and mudslinging. Reality isn't a political campaign.

Incest doesn't stop Darwin from being smart. And it certainly doesn't affect theories based on his ideas, so I really don't care.

Yes... because the Bible takes a strong stand against incest...

Wernher Von Braun also married his cousin, so I guess you can't celebrate winning the space race either.

Down House will be re-opened to the public on the 13th February. I recommend it for a visit; I shall be going again, since I am an English Heritage member and it is therefore free. I am not aware that any of the exhibits conceal the fact that Emma Wedgwood was Charles Darwin's cousin.

Navaros can take his pathetic namecalling back to the schoolyard.

Marriage between cousins was legal under UK law in Darwin's time. In fact, it still is. But that has nothing to do with the validity of his science.

Ah name calling....

Funny if an atheist did this to, say, a big name Christian preacher they would be all "persecution, persecution!!!"

"I wonder if they are gonna put signs around his 'heritage home' celebrating his/their incest heritage, showing all the places he banged his cousin in his incest/heritage home"

I wonder if they are gonna put signs around Jeffersons 'heritage home' celebrating his slave owning heritage. Showing all the places he banged his slave Sarah Hemmings and where their four children lived.

Edit: A great reply on the thread...

"Noah brings aboard the Ark his wife, his three sons and their wives. After the Flood destroys all other life on Earth, the children of Noah's sons would have to reproduce among themselves, even though they were first cousins. Does the creationism museum have an interactive diorama of that?"

Religion - Based on the Prophet, even if some of his ideas are imperfect.

Science - Based on the evidence, even though the discoverer is imperfect.

Did Charles Darwin marry his cousin? Oh well, to each his own (relative tee hee). But seriously, Darwin had hit upon a great truth in this world. He was quite insightful. His choice of sex partner has nothing to do with his contributions to biology theory. There is also the fact that many cultures around the world do not have a taboo against cousins marrying.

Why? Would you like it to be more Biblical?

Kind of like Christians try to do with the Old Testament?
