There was a documentary about the Six Day War hosted by the late Jerry Ohrbch. One of the people interviewed was an Israeli officer and he talked about a battle where a much larger size Egyptian force surrendered to just a few Israelis. When the Egyptian commander was asked why he would tell his troops to surrender to so few others, he said, "So few? We saw hundreds of Israelis." The Israelis then realized the Egyptians meant angels.
