Are you saying that Jesus never existed? If that’s so, then you probably believe the holocaust was a myth also!

We have evidence for the Holocaust, retard. Can't say the same for Jesus, and, no, the Bible is not evidence.
Let's see here...
There remains no surviving first-hand documentation that records any specific facts of the birth, life, or death of Jesus outside of the five accepted Gospels (none of which were written at the same time as when Jesus allegedly lived, some parts of which directly contradict each other. Even beyond the inherent contradictions, there's almost no agreement among them on anything he actually did...) No one knows Jesus's burial site and, even if they did, the story conveniently leaves it open for a complete lack of a body....
Now, the sum and substance of all attempts to discredit the countless documents (not to mention firsthand survivors' accounts of the horrors) that essentially confirm the historicity of the Holocaust, stem from some form of anti-Semitism, be it a resentment at the founding of the state of Israel or just general distrust of Jews that goes back at least as far as Jesus's alleged time, combined with incredulity over the generally accepted statistic of six million murdered, in such a relatively short time period and using then-available technologies. (Admittedly, the exact number of people killed is not something that can ever be known, but statisticians have reached a reasonable consensus that this number is not unreasonable -- if not on the low side...)
Now......
As far as modern conspiracy theories go, I daresay that Holocaust denial is the least plausible of all of the high-profile ones, and that actually includes the theory that we never landed a man on the moon or that the government was responsible for the destruction of the World Trade Center...
Not so. There is plenty of eyewitness and filmed evidence. There are recorded testimonies, written and audio, of holocaust survivors, relatives of those who died in the holocaust and those who perpetrated the holocaust. There are historic monuments at the grounds of some of the holocaust's important sites.
Jesus? Nothing but a book by unknown authors written decades after the supposed events. No outside sources which aren't forgeries.
Are you saying the biblical Jesus existed? If that's so, you might as well believe in Mother Goose and Alice in Wonderland.
Mel Gibson's dad believes Jesus was real and that the holocaust is a myth.
I don't believe Jesus existed and I believe the holocaust took place.
Conclusion: Belief in God is not equivalent to a belief in the holocaust.
QED
How in the fuck...? So let me get this straight; we have absolutely no proof outside the bible that jesus existed, so we, along with reason, don't believe in his existence, and that, somehow, means we don't believe the Holocaust happened, even though we have tons of evidence showing it happened? I fail to see how the two are linked, other than the fact that a xtian fundy massacred millions of Jews because his bible told him to.
Now now, there is at least some degree of evidence that a person named Jesus existed and that he provided some sort of moral philosophy for the people of his era. That doesn't mean everything in the New Testament is accurate--far from it.
Also, anonymous commenter #942395 gets a gold star for pointing out the most mind-numbingly stupid implication DesultoryPhillipic could possibly have made.
No fool, people survived the holocaust and still bear the tattoos from their confinement, the holocaust killed millions and millions more fled to escape it. You also have the photographs, the trials, eyewitness accounts etc. Jesus wasn't written about until 90 years after his death. Not the same degree of proof Des.
1. There are people alivve who remember the Holocoaust.
2. The Holocaust is well-documented.
3. Someone called "Jesus" (Yeshua ben Jusuf) probably did exist - the Roman records of the era support that assumption. That he is the Son of God....that's unsupported. But meh, if he wasn't then he wasnt, and if he was then he was, and will understand us using our minds to seek proof before offering belief. If he was telling the truth last time.....
Jesus: Mythological figure *alleged* to have existed and performed miracles, but has no corroborating evidence in the historical record.
The Holocaust: Well-documented attempt at genocide/eugenics. We have the survivors, we win.
Considering we have survivors from the Holocaust, photos, records, and the concentration camps, I'd say you are full of fail. And Erasmus once said lying for the church is acceptable, and historical records have been altered through history.
No..just Jesus.
I do wonder if the number of people the Jews claim are bolstered by homosexuals, gypsies, atheists, communists and Jehovahs witnesses..but I dont deny that lots of people died in those camps.
Are you saying that Santa Claus isn't real? Next thing you'll be telling me you don't use mayonnaise on your sandwiches!
One has nothing to do with the other, see?
Are you saying that the tooth fairy never existed? If that's so, then you probably believe gravity is a myth also!
There. Mine is as logical as yours.
Nope, I've listened to people who personally lived through the hell of the holocaust.
I've never listened to someone who personally saw Jesus at the Last Supper, or saw him die on the cross.
This does not mean that Jesus might not have lived, only that there is a ton of evidence for the holocaust, but just a book written some hundred years after the fact, to support the existence of Jesus.
Confused?
