Most knowledge cutters the mind anyway and keeps us from learning what is truly important. Knowledge also puffs up and makes one haughty.

So, your babble tells you to reject knowledge, why? Because it proves what a sham your beliefs are. It's hard to realize that you believe in a bunch of nonsense if you're indoctrinated to believe that reality is is nonsense.
"Most knowledge cutters the mind anyway and keeps us from learning what is truly important."
So, you're saying you're one of the most knowledgeable people on earth? You certainly seem to have little knowledge of what's truly important.
"Knowledge also puffs up and makes one haughty."
Knowledge also makes one capable and useful to society. More capable than, "Do you want fries with that?"
(Dan Onymous)
"erm... what exactly do you expect to learn that isn't knowledge?"
Game, set, match to Dan Onymous.

Doesn't have to. People say Dawkins is arrogant, We only see him in debate throwing his considerable intellect back. He's curt to stupidity but I've seen him ignore it, tough gig.
I'll take condescending (to a point) from someone who I know are intelligent but I see it more from people who I know aren't
Why do they hate intelligence?
Then forget everything you have learned, as easy is that. Eating by yourself? Knowing how to use plumbing installation? It makes you all puffed up and haughty. Knowing how to use potty and wipe your own ass? Its making you all puffed up and swelling with pride. Please, unlearn what you have learned and save your soul!
I have no clever comment that can face up to such stupidity, so I'm just going to settle for calling Orlor an asshole.
Orlor, you are an appalling asshole.
Ahh... that's better!
How adorable! You remind me of my former pastor, who told me that I ask too many questions and actually asked me to stop doing that during bible study .
Okay, well perhaps adorable was the wrong word...
Kung Fu Hamsta: Yeah, they used to tell me to shut up, too. Usually when I asked a question they couldn't answer.
Sherlock Holmes refused to "cutter" (clutter) his mind with what he considered unimportant knowledge. I guess if you live in a fictional world, you can do that... RR is a great example.
Knowledge is what builds the machines which print bibles and Chick tracts.
Mmmm, there is something to be said for ignorance, after all.
Reminds me of something I heard on Moral Orel. Let's all sing!
Reason is the enemy of faith, my friend
A head that's filled with knowledge
soon is too bloated with its own weight
to fit through heaven's gate
So think with your heart
it's the only organ for salvation
think with your heart
don't deduce yourself to eternal damnation
think with your heart
'cause you know that the almighty sees us
think only with your heart
whoever heard of the bleeding brain of Jesus?
think only with your heart
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
