"In Norway we have a direct connection between state and the Christian Church. Our King is the High protector of The Church. In the Ten Commandments we are forbidden to have other Gods than God. And we don't share the same god."
In the United Kingdom, we have a state religion, the Church of England. Our monarch, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is head of said Church of England, and holder of the title Defender of the Faith. Her own Christian beliefs are well known, and she makes no secret of such, nor her own extensive theological study of the subject.
Whilst she may not be an actual Professor of Theology (though no doubt with the necessary study - and theses written - she could be, if she had the time not already taken up by her official duties), even she would have the relevant knowledge to tell you that the Hebrew 'Elohim' (as Jews refer to him), Judeo-Cristian God, and Islamic Allah are all one and the same.. Indeed, Prince Charles makes no secret of the fact he's stated his desire that, when he becomes monarch, to make all beliefs in the UK inclusive within and of his title; as he calls it: 'Defender of Faith'.
PROTIP: Norway's alliance with the UK is a solid one (especially post-WWII). King Harald V and Queen Elizabeth II are good friends, reflecting that alliance. Suck it, Almond.
I love the smell of annihilated arguments in the morning. Smells like... victory.
