Yeah...you just keep telling yourselves that.

"Daddy's gonna whup your ass, just you wait!"
2/9/2009 2:44:53 AM
You get your "facts" from a book of fairy tales written by Bronze Age goat herding nomads and calls us ignorant.
I'll be laughing when you die from natural causes several decades down the road and your Rapture has still failed to happen.
2/9/2009 2:46:34 AM
We're waiting, all right.
2/9/2009 2:47:46 AM
"they laughed and mocked Noah right up until it rained and the fountains of the deep opened (oh yeah, that was a flood "myth")"
And the big, bad wolf couldn't blow down the house made of bricks.
"really it's sad......they are so arrogant, proud, and they confidently rely on man's science 'knowledge.'"
Man's science works. The results are testable and the knowledge of them patently improves human life... well, most of the time.
"(a religion in itself)"
understanding and using facts and reason to guide one's life is not a religion, it's good sense.
"they might be chuckling and having a hoot right now,"
You bet, dimwit.
"but they won't be soon...these people are going to be emotionally and physically destroyed and enduring the worst period of history and are completely ignorant of it"
I'm not ignorant of your silly stories and ridiculous beliefs, I understand that they are silly stories and ridiculous beliefs.
Oh, OK, that smiley changed my mind. Now I believe every last contention of Fundie Christianity. You guys should have brought up the smiley agrument long ago.
2/9/2009 2:48:31 AM
they laughed and mocked Noah right up until it rained and the fountains of the deep opened
The Bible says nothing about anyone laughing and mocking Noah.

Potentate Argyros of the Gaystapo
I think you lot have been saying this for 2,000 years now. I think you'll be saying it for 2,000 more
2/9/2009 3:00:52 AM
There is one constant I have found among those obsessed with end of the world belief
The never seem to look forward to the better, purer world promised in scripture, rather, in every single case, they take an alarming vindictive delight in the suffering of fellow human beings who, they personally, dislike
Yet somehow they believe that in spite of their relentless hate, and decidedly un-Christian, judgmental sadism that the Almighty will place them among the elect
If they are right about all of this, I suspect they will be in for a surprise
2/9/2009 3:04:08 AM
The "worst period in history", here in the U.S. was the civil war. The worst for much of Europe and Japan was the final year of WW2. Even if the new leadership can't prevent Bush's disastrous reign resulting in a full-fledged depression, it's highly unlikely we will ever see anything nearly as bad. We still have nukes.
Though it will probably be unwise for American citizens to travel in much of the world for a few decades. That happens when you piss people off for no good reason.
BTW. The "Flood" isn't just a myth, it's an absolute lie. A physical impossibility that clearly never happened.
2/9/2009 3:06:58 AM
Yeah, yeah, yeah, whatever makes you feel better about yourself.
2/9/2009 3:08:18 AM
a mind far far away
Yes, poor us, relying on reality, instead of basing our lives off of fairy tales, fantasies, and non-existent sky fairies. Oh woe is us. Anything to boost your ego. You're here solely for our entertainment.
2/9/2009 3:15:52 AM
And a fundie faps desperately at the fantasy of all those smart people who didnt stroke his ego, being tortured by his invisible freind.
2/9/2009 3:26:45 AM
what's sad is how terrified you are of life.
2/9/2009 3:28:23 AM
Noah is a myth.
2/9/2009 3:29:01 AM
The worst period of history? Worse than the Dark Ages? Worse than the Great Depression? Worse than the reign of George W. Bush?
Oh well...I'll just keep making fun of you demented halfwits and having a good time doing it until the shit hits the fan.
2/9/2009 3:32:45 AM
the flood isn't a myth, and it certainly isn't an outright lie. it is untrue, but i think lie indicates malicious intent. no, the story is a metaphor, parable, or exaggeration. whatever it is, it is meant to tell you how to live properly (at the time it was written, that is). like 99% of the bible.
2/9/2009 3:41:21 AM
Besides the obvious idiocy in your post, why must you assholes call everything a religion?
2/9/2009 3:51:44 AM
Evil Pirate Captain Mel
And you fucks are arrogant, proud and confidently rely on your little book of bullshit. I'd stake my life on science, thank you very much.
2/9/2009 3:58:41 AM
Nope. It's a lie, like 99% of the Buy-bull. Intent doesn't enter the conversation. A lie is a deception, or a perversion of truth. Truth can never arise from untruth.
2/9/2009 4:06:05 AM
Noah = yawn = rated 1.
Plz. You fundies, you gotta step it up, I'm gettin bored.
2/9/2009 4:07:31 AM
2/9/2009 4:59:54 AM
I personally believe that a flood may have occurred in history and the good old testament peoples may have mistaken "water as far as the eye can see" for "world wide flood".
But this guy is just a vindictive wimp desperately hoping that his gawd will show all those people who mocked him and didn't believe him!
2/9/2009 5:03:13 AM
Stop touching yourself over imaginary pain inflicted on others, it's kinda creepy.
2/9/2009 5:25:29 AM
Damn but you sound just like Jim Jones in his farewell speech!
2/9/2009 5:27:47 AM
Bender Bending Rodriguez
Wait, didn't God promise never to destroy humanity again?
Besides, we're all well aware of the global recession. We're not all ignorant of the situation.
