Atheists spend a lot of time trying to prove that they know better than God. They do not recognize the words in the bible as being from God. They prefer to believe the truth of their opinions or they wouldn't argue so vehemently for them.

Ones opinion is theirs after all. Some of us generate our opinions from facts, evidence and logic or reality if you will.
Some of us just know from adding up key points of reality that the Bible is just a book written by men.

First prove God exists, before claiming there's a fight over who is more knowledgeable, real people or a fictional figure.

The bible is the word of God because it says in the bible that it's the word of God...yeah, right. It's hardly going to say, "Do all this book says you should do, on the off-chance that some of it might turn out to be useful."

If you don't believe that your own opinion is true then there's not much point vehemently arguing in favour of it. This applies to anyone. However if you accept that your opinion is *just an opinion*, then you are better positioned to engage in an honest and sensible debate about the evidence for and against that opinion, and hopefully from that gain a better understanding of reality. The key words here for you, Carico, are 'honest', 'sensible' and 'evidence'.
But it's Carico. I live in hope.
And it's more like this Carico.
We don't believe in the Biblical stories or people who claim there is a God and they can speak for Him because they're special.

I believe in what I know or have surmised from reality?
Imagine that. I have my own mind!

Hey, dude, I was just following 1-Thessalonians 5:21, "Prove all things; hold fast that which is good."
I did just that, the bible didn't make the cut.
Theists spend a lot of time trying to prove they know better than scientists, despite first grade math being the only thing of value that was taught to them by their parents. They do not recognize that they need to show that God exists first before making claims about him. They prefer to live in ignorance so they can continue lying to other people to control them.

Leviticus 11:20.

So much for your 'God's Omniscience .
Because I know one more thing than he does, I an therefore superior to your 'God'.
Better not ask about Pi, Carico...! >:D
Today I learned that atheists don't believe that the god they don't believe in can talk and that people on different sides of an argument both think they're right. More of that incredible biblical wisdom that could only have been inspired by a divine superintelligence. Though to be fair, I've thrown out broken high school calculators from the 80s that were divinely intelligent by comparison these idiots so I suppose I can see how they could mistake the bible for a book of wisdom.

A pity you didn't keep them. You could've sent 'em to Dave Jones, the Mad Aussie Sparky of EEVBlog fame, as he has a particular weakness for calculators. Hewlett-Packard scientific & programmable ones especially (including the ones that were standard issue to NASA astronauts: to be used as backup computers in case the onboard ones in Space Shuttles failed).
But he likes doing '2-Minute Teardowns' of basic '+, -, x, /' ones, or 'Four-Bangers' as he calls them; the older the better. Going 'In Like Flynn' to see the crusty boards, wiring etc, the chipsets, LED displays or ancient vacuum-fluorescent (None of this LCD or dot matrix display rubbish!), thank you very much!
