Who do you think even made possible your life on earth, Halruaa? Did man create himself? I wonder when you're in a life or death situation that you can't get yourself out of, whom you'll call on to save you.

Sigh, OK Carico, let me tell you about the birds and the bee's...
I wonder when you're in a life or death situation that you can't get yourself out of, whom you'll call on to save you.
Nice of God to put him in that situation in the first place. Real nice.
A friend, 911, or if I can't do anything about it, I will just have to die. i certainly won't be asking for help from an imaginary guy in the sky, because that's just a waste of time and energy.
No man did not create himself, granted the species sure likes to fuck (oh the horror). However, man created god and he sure ass hell isn't going to save your sorry ass. Although, if you could provide evidence.....
I can't speak for life and death, but in times of despair, or when great strength is needed, I've never prayed for it. I've looked within. Why do these people think mankind is so weak and pitiful? Man is capable of great feats, if we simply use the strength we have. Sky Daddy has nothing to do with that.
Or I could accept my mortality, [After all, I was not created perfect, humans are still evolving] thank the world for how good my life had been up until I started to be on the way to dying, then get out a notepad and take notes on the afterlife. I think you will find that you were wrong.
Medics, police or fire department as appropriate. The military, in case the little green men are getting uppity, though we all know how those scenarios end. Rayguns, then suddenly out of nowhere, a doe-eyed teenager has a Brilliant Idea(tm) to save the day. So I suppose in that last scenario, I'd just call on the local college population.
Confused?
