I believe beheading will be the method of choice for several of the reasons already stated: - Cheap. With potentially MILLIONS if not billions of people to execute, that could add up to A LOT of bullets, or lethal chemicals, or what ever method. - Effective. They want people to be so terrified of the punishment that they will be willing to accept the mark/AC. - In the early stages of getting the people to accept this method, it could be said that this is the only humane method that leaves healthy organs for transplants...which are desperately needed. - Occult beliefs are that the only way to keep an 'undesirable' from returning in the afterlife is to remove the head from the body. So, they believe that by doing this they are eliminating us pesky christians for good. It wouldn't surprise me if it ends up being half-time entertainment.

Maybe we're living on different planets. Must be.

And, if what you're implying is that us evil atheists are going to kill all those awful Christians and that we'll do it by beheading you...us atheists are pretty strongly in favor of the Bill of Rights and I'm nearly sure one of them is the one against cruel and unusual punishment.
