Christians have lost their right to vote, but it was really before you left
Really now? If I recall correctly there seemed to be an awful lot of christians casting their vote for whomever the fuck they wanted to on election day. Quit Lying for Jesus(TM).
1930's thru 1980's - All children said the Pledge and were able to pray in and around a school.
They still do and they still can, respectively.
Late 1980's - Before this time, Sundays used to be a time when everything but the church was closed so that families could spend quality time together and "rest" on that day.
And they still do, it's just no longer forced on them by the government by means of "blue laws" which are unconstitutional. Freedom of religion means that you don't get to force me to follow the dictates of your religion.
Early 1990's - Sundays became a day for consumers to shop for just about anything thus reducing quality family time spent together.
So? It's not the place of the government to force "family time", and how does "shopping" automatically reduce time spent as a family? Are you implying that families cannot shop together, because that is certainly not the case. You don't get to decide what is or is not "quality time" for anyone's family but your own.
Mid 1990's Alcohol began being sold after the noon hour in all prime chain grocery stores.
The laws governingthe sales of liquor and other alchoholic beverages vary from state to state and in many states for county to county. What times alchohlo can or cannot be sold is not a nationwide dictate. There are in fact, many counties across the country that do not sell alchohol on sundays, and many others that do not sell alchohol at all. You would know this had you ever bothered to venture beyond you cozy little hamlet and experienced the big bad world that you are condemning.
Mid to late 1990's - Beer began being sold as soon as the stores were open
See above.
Late 1990's thru Early 2000's - Someone decided that praying in school was not politically correct. A southern man decided to raise a stink that praying in school was discriminatory against other people's religious beliefs.
Your knowledge of history is factually deficient and reprehensible. For starters compulsory prayer in schools was struck down by the SCotUS in the 1950's and not because it was politcally incorrect but because it was unconstitutional.
A non christian student should not be force to make a christian prayer any more that a christian student should be forced to make a muslim or hindu prayer. It is dicriminatory to students who belong to other religions, not that you would care. But, contrary to your assertion, prayer is still allowed in school, it is teacher led prayer that is unconstitutional.
Present Day - The US is working on taking the words "One nation under GOD" out of the pledge because it's also discriminatory
The "US" is not working on it. It was a lawsuit brought by Michael Newdow and if I recall correctly it was also dismissed. Although the phrase "One nation under god" is discriminatory and was not a part of the original pledge but added in the mid 50's during the height of McCarthyism and the "Red Scare".
Prayer in school does not exsist unless the true believer says a silent prayer to themselves.
Prayer, christian or otherwise is allowed in schools as long as it is not disrupting the rest of the class. On top of that isn't saying a silent prayer to yourself exactly what your bible commands you to do? The christian bible says not to pray in public, in front of others as a show of piety, it bids you to pray alone and out of the sight of others.
But if they get caught, they could face detention or even expulsion.
Bullshit!!! Outright Lying for Jesus(TM). I ask you, no, I fucking dare you to show me where, in any code of conduct, in any US school, where it prohibits prayer in schools and outlines the penalties thereof.
You disgrace your own religion with your lies, I, an atheist, have shown more respect to your religion than you.
AND if you listen real closely, you will hear, here and there, talk about the New World Order where everyone will be made to worship one religion.
If I listen real closely to your ranting I can even hear the sound of your tinfoil hat crinkling. You've done nothing but lie up to this point so why should anyone expect anything different from you now?
Democracy? We got stomped on
Of course you only have a majority of christians in the government, and 44 consecutive christian presidents. Yeah, you just got it sooo fuckin' bad.
Freedom? No such thing
If there was no freedom then how is it that you are even able to post this drivel on the internet? Freedom doesn't mean you get your way all the time, Freedom doesn't mean that no one can disagree with you, Freedom doesn't mean you have the right to not be offended, Freedom doesn't mean that everyone must follow your religion. I don't think you even know what freedom is, you are to chained to your own lies and misunderstandings to experience your own freedom.
Punishment for our belief in Jesus Christ? Certain Death.
Not since ancient rome, and you know it.
It's really too bad that we can't continue on with the notion of a Christian nation that our forefarthers founded our country on.
If the had intended to form an exclusively christian nation (Which they didn't) Then don't you think that they would have spelled that out quite clearly in the founding documents of said country? In fact wouldn't they have mentioned it at least once in the aforementioned documents? And had founding a christian nation been they're intent then why would they have written and signed a treaty that repudiated that fact just over 10 years later, with most of those founding fathers still in very influential positions in the government. Your "Christian Nation" is nothing more than a myth concocted to make some fundamentalist christians feel superior to non christians.
I wonder what they would think if they could see us now?
It would be so nice to see them repudiate this "christian nation" myth.
But don't worry, there are still believers and we will fight to the death to keep God alive
If "god" needs your help to stay "alive" then he's not much of a "god" now is he? What happened to your all powerful creator of the universe? Is your faith in your "god" so weak that you think he can be kiled by disbelief? If so, then that shows your "god" to be a myth, a creation of the human mind with no power or purpose.
