-_- there are many others with PhD's that would disagree with that guy, what people don't understand though is knowledge, values and beliefs are all separate, some may come to conclusions on what they should believe using knowledge, but knowledge does not directly dictate 100% of the time what a person choses to believe.
I at least hope when I get a PhD people won't expect me to become atheist -_- that would just be annoying.

@Cassandra, Gedankenpolizei means "thought police". Not sure if it's an official borrowed term from German -- like Zeitgeist or Schadenfreude -- but it is definitely German.
Personally, I think the phrase "homonazi gedankenpolizei" almost sounds like a new species of ... I don't know what. :)
