Excuse me, but if you actually *read* Genesis 1 and 2 you'll see that they disagree on many, many major points.
And, yes, if there is a God, he *is* wrong... over and over and over again, he is wrong.

Exactly!
Now, why would you want to go and worship someone who screws things up just like any human can, and didn't even have the good sense to subject the text to a good copy editor?

Or you know, seeing as how the Bible was written and translated by people, they could have made some mistakes.

Or, seeing as how the person reading is not infallible, there might be a few comprehension errors.

I don't reinterpret Gen. 1 and 2 either. They contradict each other, and that is an obvious fact.

Basically the literalist Fundie has to admit his God is wrong. Love it. They believe every word is from God so God contradicts himself, most you fundies just ignore this, denial is a better word, but this guy just straight out admits God is wrong!
"If it is wrong" No if about it, they contradict, they can't both be right. At least the moderate majority of Christianity admit to the Bible being man written and often parable, but not Rom831, he steps right in it, his God is proven wrong in His own words.
Love it!

This is what he means.
1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
See? No Contradiction there.

Well isn't that some blasphemy.

God seems to be in disagreement with himself, then.

When I read Genesis today, Chapter 2 verse 19 clearly stated that the 'beasts' of the earth and fowl of the air where made out of the ground in front of Adam. That is what it says, and that contradicts Genesis 1. So it is God who is wrong according to your last sentence.

If it is wrong, it is God who is wrong.
Well, that just says it all, doesn't it?
