YES!!! THEY DO!!! And it's not garbage. Better a youth knows what sex is, and what the risks of it are, than to send them out into the world unprepared.

I didn't know about sex till I was almost in high school. I came out find, and so did most in my generation.
And...how many took a short hiatus from school, only for their mothers to come back with a younger sibling for said classmate? Give ya a hint...that kid? Not a sibling.
We don't need to know about sex in kindergarten before we even know how to spell, add numbers and read.
While I doubt Kindergarteners are on the agenda for sex education...why not? It's not like you have to show them a porno or something, but at least lay the groundwork. Use euphemisms, if you must, but it's never too early to be honest with your children.

Good to know you got a qualified, unbiased source of facts. Do these people think Sex Ed means they pair off the kids, and teach them how to screw? I mean, any Sex Ed class I had involved a rather stern looking nurse, talking about sex in the most clinical, non-titillating way.
As a matter of fact, when I was going through junior high and high school, the only thing taught was anatomy and physiology and it was in regards to how the human body functions.

There was no mention of sex education. Back then it was the teacher who would get in trouble by the parents for bringing this subject up. Should still be that way.
And what about the parents that can't bring it up. What about the ones that are too embarrassed to talk about it? What about the ones getting blatant misinformation by parents that want to scare their children out of having sex?
This is sick. How can it be happening? I wouldn't even sign the consent forms for my kids in 5th grade and still won't allow them to watch R rated movies for sexual content in high school, and yes you have to sign a form for this in our school.
Most do. I think it's a travesty, personally. Every kid should be prepared for what they will inevitably be going through, and feeling. It's either that, or they are left confused. And again with the "won't let the kids see movies with sexual content." A movie with a guy blowing another guy's head off his shoulders is okay...but show two people having sex, and it's vile and should not be seen. You have some seriously fucked up priorities.

Innocence is overrated. A child deserves to be a child, that is true, but you can't keep them under glass. They will not be able to cope once they hit the real world. People out there don't give a flying fuck about "innocence."
