Big difference. The Evos use the government and the courts to enforce the religious dogma emanating from the Temple of Darwinistic Materialism on our public schools and government funded science institutions. Talk radio is governed by the free market. The libs seek to thwart the will of the market with respect to talk radio in the same way that the Evos thwart the free market of scientific ideas with respect to creation/intelligent design.

Unlike talk radio, science is not a "free market," it is a study of the natural universe, i.e. reality. That you would twist it into a court of popular opinion through reality denial enlightens us all to your delusional mental state.
Maybe Science was some kind of free market in the medieval/ancient ages, when there were no scientific standards and every shitty thesis could be propagated without getting checked and alchemists/snakeoil peddlers were able to eploit this for their own good ;)
Nowadays we have scientific standards that force you to have some kind of evidence if you want your thesis be recognized as scientific theories (or at least have to be able to show that your thesis are logical extrapolations from existing established theories)
Till now creationism/ID has failed to meet these standards ;)
People like you seem to cherish ignorance, elevating it to something of an art form. The lies and stupidity of "intelligent design" are no basis for education. And as for the free market, what a wonderful success that's been recently! Get yourself some socialism and save your country before it's too late. But I forgot, "Christians" like you hate the poor and the sick and are quite happy to leave them to suffer, directly contradicting your God's teachings.
So, in summary, you're an ignorant, lying, hypocrite. Enjoy eternity in the big fire!
Talk radio is governed by the free market.
Then so is fag-enabling lie-beral Hellyweird. Stop trying to have it both ways.
Speaking of the free market, who wants to socialize religion, and who wants to keep it private?
If science was governed strictly by a free market, stupid retards like you would be trying to cure cancer with those useless ionized bracelets.
Personally, I see most talk-radio much like the comments on YouTube: A lot of retarded, ignorant blowhards pontificating on things they know nothing about. It seems to fit you perfectly.
When will Creationism/Intelligent Design produce compelling evidence and solid proof of their theories?
I won't hold my breath waiting, as is the norm when it comes to anything to do with fundies.
Meanwhile, we have evolution backed up by an absolute welter of compelling evidence, evidence that is getting stronger and stronger by the day and building up a more powerful case, as time rushes by, for the efficacy of evolution.
Whatever evolution has to do with "libs" and "the will of the market with respect to talk radio" only a crazed fundie can tell you, if he can manage to organize his words in between his raging frustration and self-loathing.
I don't understand, what religious dogma is GodGunGuts on about? Better not hold my breath again methinks.
GodGunGuts interesting choice of nickname; it's sort of like maybe one out of three.
1) God = Doesn't exist
2) Gun = Might have one
3) Guts = Hasn't got any

...shut up, SHUT UP, SHUT UP!!!

@Paschal Wagner: "I wish the roundness of the Earth had been the subject of a public vote. No Columbus, no talk radio."
God, no!
If we hadn't had America to send all our religious loonies too, they'd still be cluttering up Europe!
There is no "free market" of scientific ideas. Amateurs don't get to vote on what scientific theory is right.
The Evos use the government and the courts to enforce the religious dogma
No, they use the US Constitution to keep fundies from using the schools to proselytize our children in their religious beliefs. And evolution isn't a religious belief. That arguments was tried in court years ago and failed.
Evolution isn't religious dogma. You're free to counter it all you want. You just can't use fallacious arguments like "god of the gaps" arguments, arguments from personal incredulity and "appeal to authority" (the Bible) arguments. You also can't just pull hypothetical "what-ifs" out of thin air (e.g., "what if the speed of light has changed?") and sit back and say "prove me wrong".
And once those types of arguments are eliminated, creationism has nothing left.
talk radio is ruled by the majority. Which is ignorant, to say the least.
Scientists on the other hand spend their lives studying how the universe works, making them reliable sources of information.
But why am i wastin my time on you, you wouldn't know a realiable source of information if it slapped you in the face.
creation/intelligent design has NOTHING to give to the freemarket. No predictions, no studies, no experiments..it is only made as a legal wedge to force real science out of school.
This is why it has failed our freemarket society. If those speculations had any substances to be gained from they would have been still used instead of dumped.
If you're so confident that creationism can hold its own in the "free market of scientific ideas", then you won't find that market in internet message boards or shabby documentaries or Dr Dino's theme park; you'll find it in peer-reviewed research. Confident that the evidence is on your side? Then write a paper and submit it for peer review.
Talk radio's a bad example of the free market. If someone publishes a book, someone else can counter the arguments with another book. If someone says something on the radio, it can't be countered on the radio because all the bandwidth has been used up.
No we don't. All we ask is one peer reviewed piece of evidence of creation.
Thats all.
Give us a ring. Remember peer reviewed. As in you have an experiment that can be replicated over and over again and is repeatable by others.
"The Evos use the government and the courts to enforce the religious dogma..."
Both science and the courts rely on evidence. Ideas without evidence are rejected by both the courts and science. Talk radio relies on emotional appeal, evidence be damned. If creation/ID have to rely on emotional appeal, it is clear that they are doing so to cover up for their lack of evidence.
I know this may be hard for a modern conservative to understand, but some things cannot and should not be governed by the "free market." That's not communism, it is fact.
"The Evos"
I don't know about other Autobots, but one of the most famous of the sentient Transformer automobiles (certainly next to Jazz) is Bumblebee - a VW Beetle (animation) or a 2009 Chevy Camaro (films).
He may be just a car, but his bravery and selfless need to protect other non-Decepticon sentients is rivalled only by Optimus Prime himself.
If there are any Autobots that reformatted themselves, post-protoform, into rally-spec cars by Mitsubishi, let me know, mmkay?

"Evo" is a brand of overpriced dog food with serious vitamin/mineral imbalances. However, in my shelter foster experience, it's perfect for getting a nearly-dead-of-starvation dog healthy enough to switch to a better food without having to extend the foster term another three weeks. That's more than I can say for GodGunsGuts.
Okay, to be fair, the free market DOES play into science.
When oil companies go prospecting for oil, they hire geologists, not young earth creationists. That's because geologists get results.
When pharmaceutical companies research new medications, they hire biologists who are well versed in evolutionary theory. They do not hire creationists, because real biologists are the ones who get results.
When agricultural firms want to develop new strains, they hire botanists and agronomists who are well versed in evolutionary theory. They do not hire creationists because, well, you get the idea.
The bottom line is, science gets results, so scientists get the jobs, science gets the prestige, and scientific research gets the funding. If creationists want what scientists have, they can stop trying to provoke worthless debates and start producing results.
There's your free market at work

...or they could also use rally-spec Subaru Imprezas to enforce the religious dogma emanating from the Temple of Darwinistic Materialism on our public schools and government funded science institutions, and I'll just go get my coat, shall I...?! [/smartarse] X3
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
