[From a long post about apostasy in the church.]
I know I'm not completely crazy because the bible says I'm not crazy and RR backs me up when I know something is wrong but can't put my finger on it. Sometimes I wonder if I'm being too picky though. I'll gladly take legalism over the apostasy any day.

Isn't carob made from the seed pods of the locust tree? Didn't John the Baptist sustain himself on locusts in the wilderness?
I think carob may have something here. Either that or I've read far too much RR...

I've read the bible, you aren't in it, sorry to burst your self important bubble.
and RR backs me up when I know something is wrong but can't put my finger on it.
Talk about the blind leading the blind. If RR backs you up on anything you have to ask yourself, "Is it real, or is it fanfic?"
the bible says I'm not crazy
Does your bible look like the books on the shelf of Hoodoo's laboratory?
when I know something is wrong but can't put my finger on it
Maybe you SHOULD put your finger on it. You might like what happens next.

So in the new testament stories, you're on the side of the Jewish authorities that had Jesus put to death?
1) Jesus (and Paul) was against legalism. Remember salvation by faith?
2) The Bible and RR are not qualified psychologists/psychiatrists. I recommend seeing one of those two to check if you're crazy or not.
Somebody took the National Lampoon self esteem advice and whited out LORD and GOD and wrote their name in.
Hey, it made me feel better.
I love that carob says that sometimes he might be being too picky, but if he's not sure if he's overreacting to supposed 'apostasy' (which they use to refer to some of the most mainstream of Christian doctrines), he comes to his friends at Rapture Ready who'll decide for him. I mean, wasn't that the point of Jesus? To free us from the tyranny of a narrow interpretation of Scripture that's tightly guarded by the self-righteous? How can such 'devoted' people not get that? Because they really are crazy.
The stupidity of legalism is one of Jesus's biggest points. Remember Jesus? Apparently not, since you're basically *spitting on his teachings* while claiming to follow them. (But then, should I be surprised? The whole "accept others, even those whose lifestyles seem morally questionable" - tax collectors, prostitutes, and the woman taken in adultery, anyone? - thing seems to have gone over your heads entirely.)
Hmmm ... what parts of Jesus's moral teaching do these people believe? Anything at all? 'Cause I can't think of anything...
Yeah, you, your bible, and your cultist-friends at RR are complete insane. Seek professional help now!!!!
I know I'm not crazy because the bible says I'm not crazy
The lulz meter is OVER 9000!
And RR backs me up when I know something is wrong but can't put my finger on it.
What, 9000! That can't be right!
I know I'm not completely crazy because the bible says I'm not crazy
- Where does the Bible specifically mention YOU, Carob?
and RR backs me up when I know something is wrong but can't put my finger on it.
- It is sinful to put your finger on it! Be warned!
Sometimes I wonder if I'm being too picky though. I'll gladly take legalism over the apostasy any day.
- Translated this means: I'd rather have someone else do my thinking for me.
"I know I'm not completely crazy because the bible says I'm not crazy and "
The Koran told me you are crazy.
" RR backs me up when I know something is wrong but can't put my finger on it."
There's a verse in your bible about the blind leading the blind.

Just to be on the safe side, see one of each.
"I know I'm not completely crazy because the bible says I'm not crazy"
Show me anywhere in the Bible where it says "carob is not crazy". If not, then you ARE.
"I'll gladly take legalism over the apostasy any day"
First gays, then abortionists, then lefties, then Atheists, and now apostrophes? What have those poor punctuation marks ever done to you? Does their hatred know no bounds?!
...I'll get my coat.
Confused?
