"I am proud to be white as well...We have invented nearly everything people use on a daily basis."
So the Chinese didn't invent (or use long before people in the west came up with the same idea) paper, printing, gunpowder, the compass, forks, fermented beverages, modern toothbrushes, cast iron, diabetes diognosis and treatment, fishing reels, flares, negative numbers, playing cards, porcelain, tea, toilet paper, collpasable umbrellas and wheelbarrows?
I wonder how he'd react to being told are number system, along with various important mathematical systems are Idian and Middle Eastern in origin?
I'm a photographer so I use a camera almost daily - the camera obsccura, without which we wouldn't have digital cameras, is a Middle Eastern invention. Look around you, the camera is one of the msot important devices in use today, even if it is mostly for commercialism and harrassing the famous.
