Quote# 59697

I've found that NEVER watching any of those Discovery or History channels, etc... when they deal with God or the Bible is an excellent way NOT to have a heart attack! I end up screaming at the TV screen "WHAAAT! Are you CRAZY!? What's WRONG with you!???" I always expected the men with the huggie jackets to show up at my door. So, I don't watch those channels anymore when the subject is God, the Bible, Prophecy, Jesus, etc...

In His love,

The men with the huggie jackets? What, you wet your pants at the sight of the truth?

Why do I get the picture in my head of this person standing in front of the tv, jumping up and down with fingers in their ears, yelling, lalalalala I cant hear you.?

Did you ever actually listen to what they had to say, then independently research it? You might actually be surprised at the truths that are out there waiting to be Discovered.

Dumbass!

At least your name is accurate. You are, indeed, a child, if you're so afraid of the truth.

I actually find the Discovery and especially the History channel to be unbearably soft handed when it comes to religion. The Discovery channel even goes so far as to broadcast "history" programs of biblical times that use the bible as their sole historical source.

@TauRaven:
Probably because (s)he is doing just that.

I wonder if there's a way to hijack this retard's cable so that nothing but Discovery Channel and History Channel can be received.

Oh no! I heard a version of the story I don't agree with!

I listen to/watch/read things I don't agree with for several reasons, like to get an idea of what other people think (God forbid I know something about people different from me!), to get a better idea of why I think what I do, or, horror of horrors, to see why it might be logical to change my position, among other potential reasons.

I never watch the History Channel any more, either.

But that's because they don't check their facts, not because they blaspheme.

Huggie jackets? Aren't you a bit confused? Huggies are for your ass, dickwad, and if you scream and piss yourself to where you have a heart attack and need the assistance of someone else to change you, your problem isn't with the programs.

Unfortunately, my uncle is the same way. And he visits every week, and I happen to be a big History Channel watcher.

That's why channels like TBN were created.

Yes, My Abba's Child. History is baaaaad, historians are nasty people who try and find out what REALLY happened? Go back to reading fairy tales, much safer for you.

Oooohhh, she would of just freaked when Vision (our multi-religion channel) showed a documentary on "The evolution of God".

Actually it was really interesting, explaining how god has evolved from animal spirits up to what we have today.

Just because you're paranoid, MAC, it doesn't mean Huggie Boy isn't out to get you. I think you should expect a visit at any time, and be prepared to welcome the calming meds.

Does the truth bother you that much?
It took me 51 years to discover that religion is the ultimate bullshit.
