If there are other civilizations on other worlds we would never know it. They wouldn't be allowed to have and contact with us. We are a fallen people, and I don't think God would allow cross contamination.

But if we're fallen, then how come God hasn't had them do unto us what the Israelites did unto the Canaanites - invade the Earth and slaughter us to a man?

After the first contact with a fundie this planet would be declared a quarantine zone by any sensible alien life.
They would say the planet was contaminated with dangerously contagious psychotic delusions that cause those afflicted to seek death over life.
[Why do I keep pictureing a fundie waving a bible and preaching at some poor clueless Grey?]
Sometimes I wish we'd really encounter an alien species just to get those fundies to shut up and realize their little fairy tales can't be true.
Well, that or intergalactic holy war.
You people make up an awful lot of stuff that isn't in the Bible.
Well, since all the stuff that is in the bible was arrived at in the same way, this probably isn't much of a problem.
Clay Man if there are "other civilizations on other worlds" why would they want to contact us when dumbasses like you are around?

@ ausador, then they would pour bleach on us.
Thanks you fundie fools for causing us to be bleached out of existence.
When the first extrasolar planet (51 Pegasi b, now called "Bellerophon") was discovered in 1995, I remember seeing an article in my local paper dealing with a statement by a Catholic Archbishop. The Archbishop said that if there was intelligent life on this newly-discovered planet, they would have souls in need of saving .
The next week, a Catholic Cardinal denounced this statement, saying that they didn't know if Original Sin would have happened on that other planet or not .
This led to speculation about the nature of an alien species that had never experienced Original Sin. Since Death was not introduced until Original Sin occurred, the aliens would be unkillable! Woe to us if they decided to invade.

Which wouldn't be a problem anyway, since if we ever did meet space aliens, we probably wouldn't be able to mate with them (despite what Macross would suggest, but then no fundie's ever seen that anyway).
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
