If the earth moved at all out of it's orbit it would explode (or something like that). That right there is incredible proof that this world did not come by CHANCE. Come on, you have to agree. What are the odds of the earth just popping into the PERFECT spot in the ENTIRE UNIVERSE?(that's a lot of space to pop up in) I think its because God did it, but if you want to go on thinking that the earth's position is random than I feel very sorry for you.

Nobody believes that the Earth's position is random. It's ~150 million kilometres from the Sun at all times, give or take a small amount, and varies predictably with its position on its elliptical orbit. That's almost as far from random as it's possible to get.

The earth's position DOES have a bit of randomness. It's not a perfect ellipse; it wobbles a bit. It moves out of its orbit ALL THE TIME.

If the Earth was anywhere else it would not have formed this kind of life, hence we would not exist to discuss this at all.

There's no use discussing "what would have happened if x", as "x" did not happen anyway.
Employ your time thinking about how to make the best of what we actually HAVE, for all of us who are actually HERE, instead of useless what-ifs.

Chance has nothing to do with events that have taken place... Probability mathematics are tools used to try and predict future events (some times accurately some times not so much), they are useless concerning past events, since the probability of a past event is 1 out of 1... However where probability calculations are useful is determining how likely it is to have a planet capable of sustaining life other than our earth. There are literally millions of galaxies that we can see right now, each have billions of stars and most of those stars have planetoids of some kind.

As for the perfect spot in the entire universe. There are many spots that would be suitable for a planet to support life. Most suns have a "green zone" so to speak, that isn't too hot or too cold to support life. We don't yet have the technology to really see other planets in other solar systems accurately enough to determine do they have planets orbiting the star within this "green zone".

The other arguments re: astrophysics have been made. The earth's orbit is elliptical, and the other planets don't seem to have exploded. But it's extreme arrogance to think that the ENTIRE UNIVERSE was made just so the earth would have this one place in it to never budge out of, on pain of destruction.
