[Responding to the question "Tell us why you are for or against gay marriage"]
It is bad enough that these people show affection out in public. Giving them rights is wrong, morally, and spiritually. All we need is that these people marry and start buying babies to raise them in their image. Not just no, hell no!

Because everyone knows heterosexual couples never show affection in public.
Admit it, you just don't like it when men kiss or hold hands because you personally think it's icky. The problem is yours, retard, not society's.
"Ewww, gays are icky!"
Grow up.
Today we hide the gays.
Tomorrow, the evangelicals.
Hey, fair is fair. I'd rather see two men smooching in public than any number of bible queers with their loud public masturbation. Now THAT is yucky.
I'll admit that public displays of affection between gay men sometimes makes me uncomfortable. There was a time where all such displays of affection always made me extremely uncomfortable. This is because I was raised in a socially retarded area during a time where such displays of affection "were not done", under the real possibility of violence by people with your attitudes and outlook. Once I was exposed to less socially retarded areas of the country, the childish "icky" factor began to subside. Although I have yet to completely mature in this respect, I could never support any attempt to limit a person's legal rights, if those rights are not leading to behavior which is harming other people. In other words, your moral outrage is childish and irrelevant. Shut up and mind your own business.
Once you start taking away the rights of people you see as less than yourself you have opened the door to have your own rights taken away. America isn't supposed to work that way, nor can it work like that in modern society. Either everybody has rights or no one truly does, People cannot be truly free as long as there is a segment of the population who has the ability to take away the rights of those that they don't like.
And what the hell are you going on about buying babies? The process of adoption is the same no matter whether people are gay or straight. You can't raise a kid to be gay, either they are or they aren't. If that were the situation then there would be no homosexuals from "good christian homes" would there?
I'm not a huge fan of people who are practically humping each other in public, no matter what their orientation, but so what if they hold hands, or a peck on the cheek. Hell in a lot of the world that's custom between straight men.
In my country, greetings between a man and a woman, or two women, consist of a kiss in the cheek. When I go visit my german relatives, I have to remember not to do that, since it freaks them out. Stiff people. So, by their standarts, should I get my rights taken away? You know, for the icky touching each other part?
What are you like 5? "ewwwww people kissing!" Get over it. I mean I'd be a little uncomfortable if 2 gay guys started kissing in public, and I'm not afraid to admit that, but I also realise in my rational mind that often it's not about what I want and I have to put up with it like I put up with smokers and heteros making out in public. To me there is no moral, ethical or spiritual reasoning unless it's backed up by reasoning grounded in reality. Also Rodney I hate you. /rant
I'm never going to get the mass hatred toward anyone expressing their affections in public by people in a religion based on "loving your fellow man"
And wouldn't you think the gays would fit in even better with that little tenet?
you guys are expecting way to much out of these people. of course they can't say WHY they hate gays, they have no good reason. they hate gays out of bigoted xenophobia and nothing else. of course they say now it's because of god's will ever since one of them actually bothered to read the bible and found one little quote that can be interpreted to to support them.
they have no excuse and they know it.
