Under God [in the Pledge of Allegiance] did mean the Christian God as He is the only God they saw as being the true God unlike all the pagan religions of the indians & the world. For heavens sake they passed laws &* provided monies to evangelize the indians to the Gospel of Jesus Christ & U dare say they were not Christian,............ U are being very disengenuous my friend!!
