Quote# 60943

[On why Hinduism is a false religion and Christianity is accurate.]

The Gita is just a bunch of babble with no written construction which simply repeats itself so much that it makes you dizzy after reading about four chapters. That's about it. Krishna in Hindu history was shot with an arrow and died. Hindu writings were written, changed, re-written, re-edited, and such into the first or second century.

The Bible is just a bunch of babble with no written construction which simply repeats itself so much that it makes you dizzy after reading about four chapters. That's about it. Jesus in Christian history was nailed to a cross and died. Christian writings were written, changed, re-written, re-edited, and such into the first or second thousand years.

You think they'd look into their religion (since it means so much to them, Hell, I know more about the Beatles and Led Zeppelin's origions then they know of their religion, and that's only a hobby to me, despite Jimmy Page being God for nearly a decade) The total lack of attention to the documentation of Christianity history is not only immense but bewildering.

Don't you want to know? Or is Blind Faith the true God of all religions?

By my count (and correct me if I'm wrong, Tony) you are fluent in Hindi, ancient Aramaic, archaic Greek and Roman Latin.

Otherwise, your argument is pigswill.

You one smart fella, dude.

Wow, that sounds alot like the babble. And this morons logic, no objectivity. Simply a christ-nut babbling about why his imaginary sky fairy is better than someone else's imaginary sky fairy. And I doubt he's ever read anything on Hinduism, or any other religion for that matter.

Imagine a lightning bolt striking a barnyard awash with slurry and sludge and somehow animating it. The living slurry sloshes through the barnyard surprised and delighted at it's new found consciousness and regales the chickens and pigs with pompous declarations of no import as it sluices past the pig sty and hen house. That's what springs to mind when reading the above quote.

And how many "begats" are there in Genesis?

3/27/2009 4:20:28 PM

Captain Britannica

Never mind begats in Genesis, just count the creation stories.

And, people, leave off quoting the 'Council of Nicaea chose the Bible' shit. Didn't happen. Despite what Voltaire said.
