Bhagavad-Gita and the Mahabharata were composed between 400BC-400AD. Changed, edited, enlarged to many degrees. Research will do you all some advancement.
The bible was not put together into 300AD. The OT was in circulation through the Septuagint by the 1st century BC. The NT writings were in circulation by 150AD. This can be backed up by Polycarp’s letter, Apostle Church Leaders of the second century quoting from the various of Pauline letters and gospels, and the Diatessaron of Tatian which harmonized the four gospels into one narrative around 150AD. Just to name a few examples.
Dead Sea Scrolls along with the NT Papyri/Papyus findings have dated this to various of time frames of the first to forth centuries showing no editing or changing found amongst the passing down through copying of manuscipts and/or Papyus' of the OT/NT.
I've read the Gita...I own a copy in fact which is sitting nicely in my draw...it is a book of nonsense which makes no sense. Also before judging the judeo-Christian God why not judge Krishna who had 16,108 wives occurding to tradition. Doesnt seem like a good role model for me...and what I would call a womanizer.
The bible is one continuous story beset over 66 books (even Book of Sirach and Book of Wisdom which is not in the standard canon fits into it with it's predictions of Christ and Yahweh syle living). It was written by various of writers which all connect into one story backed by archological evidence such as the findings of King Davids house as one example.
As for the claims the bible was edited 1,000-9,000 times than my response is...where is your evidence? Findings have shown no editing in stories with only minor errors like a misspelt word or a grammar mistake. The papyus scrolls that have been discovered such as Papyus 4, 75, 90, and 98 are the ones dated to around 125-150AD. All these scrolls along with all the ones I haven't listed show no editing or changing of the Gospel stories or Paul leeters to what's in our bibles today. All papyus' have been shown to be about 98 percent accurate to our NT writings we have today. The 2 percent is minor grammar errors or mis-spelling of a word and that sort of stuff.
Enjoy persecuting us...you only help prove our claims that the bible is true everytime you attack us foru our beliefs in Yahweh and Jesus/Yeshua.
"Mat 5:11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake."
Dont worry...I still love ya all the same :-). Unlike most secularists whom are bitter and angry...we still love you as CHrist taught us to do.
PS: I use to be an atheist...so I know all these arguments, and reasoning behind the negativity of Christianity.
