Like the Athenian Empire in ancient Greece? How about the great city states from that age like Sparta, Corinth, and Thebes? Especially the Sacred Band of Thebes, 50 pairs of homosexual couples who also happened to be one of the most elite warriors of that time. Even Alexander the Great was known to have male lovers and he went on to conquor the entire known world of the time.
Then there is ancient Rome which lasted from around 750 BC until the fall of Constantinople and the eastern Roman Empire in 1453 AD. If memory serves the Romans were no strangers to homosexuality and If I recall correctly Gaius Augustus Octavianus himself had male lovers throughout his life. (That would be the 1st emperor of Rome for you fundies who think that Rome began with Constantine.)
I could go on but seeing as I have roundly trounced you idiotic assertion already I'll go easy on you.

There was a time when people thought that ending slavery, giving the vote to women, or treating black people as equals was the death knell for the US. They were wrong and so are you. Why do you act as if homosexuality is something new? There have been gay people as long as there have been people, and contrary to your fear mongering they are not building a "gay army" or in any way attempting to overthrow the government.

If you're claiming that homosexuality brought down the fall of the Roman empire, you're wrong; the Romans were practicing all kinds of sexual variances for hundreds of years. If you want to know what really brought them down, you should look to Christians and people like St. Augustine of Hippo who said that people should stop caring about their country and focus on heaven instead.
If you're claiming that homosexuality brought down the Greeks, you are again wrong. They practiced it for centuries as well until they were subjugated by the Romans, who also practiced it. Hell, Sparta institutionalized homosexuality to improve soldiers' camaraderie and morale.
If you want an example of a civilization that has almost always practiced homosexuality and never fallen, look to the Japanese. They only sought to stop it when they were trying to 'Westernize' themselves- and even that opinion is currently becoming unpopular. Another good one would be the Chinese, who have openly had homosexuals for MILLENNIA!

edit: Obviously, homosexuals aren't tolerated in modern China, but my point remains that there are stories about same-sex lovers in China over two-thousand years old! I can name them!
