Ran tv, fan, light, closet light,
Hey, it's your electric bill. If it makes you feel any better, I too, continued using my electricity during Earth Hour. My feeling being that I shut down my appliances when I sleep anyways. Plus, I don't use too much electricity at home as it is.
Plus I stayed on the phone with my sister for 5 hours - having to continually go on and off charger.
I have no problem with this, either. Personally, I couldn't talk to someone for that long, but girls are more chatty than boys.
Her son just died, so I figured we would use up what he can't use up now.
Wow. Way to take advantage of someone. I mean, I could see if you were on the phone for 5 hours consoling your sister. That would make sense, and be considered virtuous. But to do it specifically to waste the energy your nephew couldn't use? Isn't that kind of insulting-both to your nephew's memory and to your grieving sister?
Grieving in a lighted room? You betcha!!!
Petty much? You betcha!!!
