Plan B -- the drug that allows guys to breathe a sigh of relief the morning after using some chick for selfish pleasure -- will now be available to 17-year-olds without a prescription.
Who cares that she's not even old enough to buy a pack of cigarettes legally? Get her drunk on wine coolers, get what you want, then the next morning, take her to CVS to get Plan B and make sure there's no chance the slut will show up in a few months talking child support payments and DNA tests.
So guys, if you screw a 17-year-old and "forget" to use a condom, remember: Nothing says "thanks a lot, you cheap whore" like the gift of Plan B!

Strange because religious right wing nutcases have always looked upon women as "something to use for selfish pleasure". It's even in your bible.
So what is the problem with this pill? I guess it's not that it will prevent a potential pregnancy but that the WOMAN can decide herself and doesn't have to follow her slave master.

So which is it, taking advantage of an innocent child or being ensnared by a slut? Robert Stacy McCain, too bad you hate yourself. Directing your hate on women won't change that.
Actually Shadoboy, Plan B (AKA Emergency Contraception or The Morning After Pill) is taken after sex, but it is just essentially a stronger dose of the birth control pills that millions of women take every day. It's used to prevent pregnancy in situations like a broken condom, rape, or other contraceptive failure/lack of use. (Many say that it's an abortion, but that's because they're using an ideological definition of pregnancy rather than a medical one. It won't do anything if you're already pregnant.)
And yeah, I think this guy is projecting. Notice how the girl was basically tricked into it and had no sexual agency of her own? Headache is probably right when (s)he says that this is more about them being pissed that the woman has control in this situation.
"Nothing says 'thanks a lot, you cheap whore' like the gift of Plan B!"
I always find it's a nice touch to gift wrap it. It's the little things that make life worthwhile, after all

You evidently have an extremely limited, negative conception of casual or otherwise short term sexuality, and female sexuality in general.
@Sayna
I think Shadoboy meant they buy the pill before sex and then use it afterwards but I could be wrong.
I can understand someone being so worried about a breaking condom that they have emergency measures already on hand but I would assume most would buy it after.
Just another fundy showing their true colors with regard to their views on abortion and birth control; it's all about "punish the sluts" (even the male ones, apparently), and really has nothing to do with "life".
A. She's not old enough to buy cigarettes legally
therefore
B. She's old enough to have a man much older than her get her drunk enough on wine coolers to have it not only be statutory rape but also sexual assault/battery
But it's her fault. Okay, thanks. I think I get it now.
(The age of access to Plan B and all other forms of contraception should be the same as the legal age of consent. Uh, duh?)
Misogynist! Guys can drag the girls all they want, the girls can get out through the back or simply not take the pill. Girls are not bimbo dolls with no will of their own. It takes two to tango, if she's a cheap whore, then so is he. And the pill is not fool proof, either, she might still show up in a few months, and if you have "forgotten" to use a condom - you had it comming!
As a side note; it's more fun to have mutual pleasure.
So, lets just say your scenario holds true, girl gets drunk, lets a guy a take advantage...you think an unwanted pregnancy is better then the Morning After pill? You think this girl should live with that mistake for the rest of her life?
You are a FUCKING douchebag. Mind your own goddamn business.
"Who cares that she's not even old enough to buy a pack of cigarettes legally?"
I care.
Teenagers are sexual beings, whether you like it or not, however, most of them are not capable of being consistently good parents. Some of them will have inappropriate sex and, rather than punish them for the rest of their lives, post-coital contraceptives should be available to them.
Cigarettes, on the other hand, are the only product which when used "properly" causes illness and death. Teenagers have no business smoking. If their was a post-smoking medication which removed the undesirable effects caused by smoking, it should be available to 17 year olds as well.
I actually see this as a step in the right direction as it shows that men have some responsibility over who they screw rather than the typical "she was revealing too much so she deserved to get raped" mentality.
That aside, condoms do break so I'm glad Plan B is available.
...I was gonna point out the logical fail, in that older men could always buy the plan B themselves. So in this scenario, it doesn't matter if the girl can legally buy it, any more than it matters whether she can legally buy the wine coolers.
But I think I'll just sit here and boil with rage instead. And grim satisfaction that this asshole cannot even comprehend how awesome sex between two normal, guilt-free, (informed) consenting people can be. Ah yes, girls with agency - we are more fun than you can possibly imagine, good sir, now kindly go DIAF.
Or it might ensure that a seventeen year old girl gets through university or a trade by saving her from a lifetime of bringing up a baby before she's ready. Yes chaps, you'd have to be a right cad to think of her welfare, happiness, career prospects and all that.
Shit like this infuriates me! My wife and I were 27 and 25 when we had a condom break. We went together the next morning to Planned Parenthood and had about a half hour long conversation with a very well educated doctor, told her our concerns. Even though the risk was low, we were not financially or emotionally ready to start a family yet.
Do the raving fundies even think about the normal, every day people involved when they start spewing their hate rhetoric? Does it even occur to them that rational, consenting adults have sex?
Just because a safe means of birth control exists in case of issues automatically means rapes will happen? What the fuck? People should still use condoms to stop STDs, but why would this rape scenario play out?
I think you're really just an amoral fuckwad who is projecting your own fucked up thinking.
"Nothing says "thanks a lot, you cheap whore" like the gift of Plan B!"
Except an unwanted pregnancy.
Of course, it was 10 BC pills back then and they gave you a refill for 5 of them... Why you ask?
BECAUSE THE VAST MAJORITY OF WOMEN THREW UP AT LEAST ONE OF THE TWO DOSES.
I didn't, but I can tell you it was hell on my system. Robert, ironically the name the guy who raped me called his penis, why don't YOU take a pack of Plan B and tell me how you feel a few hours later? You'll be asking to DIAF.
Come on, the real whores just don't do anything and by the time they realize that they're pregnant they've slept with half the male population. And what's wrong with a WOMAN having sex before she is 18? Correct me if I'm wrong but was the normal age for marriage and conception around 11 or 12 at one time? (for hundreds of years?)
What do you mean "now available"?
I tool I similar drug when I was 17, no ID required, no parental agreement, no prescription. Granted I turned 18 a few months later, but that doesn't count when you want to go to a pub aged 17.
And it wasn't a one night stand, he was my boyfriend at the time.
typical fundie mindset: women only exist to be fucked and impregnated, they don't have opinions and desires of their own. so of course, Plan B is for MEN (most notably men who don't want the impregnating part, which is what makes them evil men), not women
*facepalm*
Well this guy is going a bit heavy on the hyperbole, but I am pleased to see that he advocated using condoms in the final para.
I was half expecting him to suggest we completely ignore the biological fact that human beings have sexual impulses in favour of advocating pointless and self-righteous abstinence.
So at least give him that.
I... Uh.... ow!
I don't understand what Robert is saying, it's against Plan B, but, uh, I'm not sure how these sentences fit together.
RE: #947953: "This is the mindset among the vast majority of teens and young adults. "
Hi, welcome to FSTDT. We like to back our shit up with facts here. Ignorant stereotypes just don't quite cut it.
Confused?
