I don't have anything to live for now? I have a kitten who I love very much and who loves me back, I have a place I love to do volunteer work and have lots of friends there, I want to get more education and get into research with cats. I don't drink or use non-prescription drugs (aside from the occasional ibuprofen) and I have no interest in porn (not that I think there's anything wrong with it, it's just not for me). Just because I'm fine with my death being final doesn't mean I have no reason to live, nor does it mean I feel I have reason to be a complete sociopath. I can recognize that my actions can hurt others NOW, and therefore I do my best to not cause intentional harm, -even if I want to-.

You, on the other hand, what do YOU have to live for? All the good stuff you guys get, according to you, is after death, so why do you hang around? (I'll bet you'll respond something like wife and kids, job you like, etc., as if atheists don't have those things too, or that you have to save us poor lost people, which we wish you'd quit with).

I don't understand the concern with how society at large is anyway.

Have you ever been an atheist? Guess not. Then how do you know how they feel, and what they live for?

Secular societies don't need the fear of God to keep to moral and treating each other with respect. We do that just because it's the right thing to do: you treat others the way you want to be treated. Logic has nothing to do with spiritualism, if anything logic increases when you loose interest in ghosts.

What is a secularist? I guess my country is seen as a very secular society, but most people here still considers themselves Christians, or Muslims, or whatever religion they prefer. And, we live for each others, for love, for the beauty of nature, for laughter and kindness. Sure we drink wine, but often in the company of friends and family.

Fantasy land is rather something for fundies, than atheists. The atheists see the real world, here and now.

Remember God? From where? The things of importance differ from person to person. And if you feel good constantly, then the good-feeling gets diluted. Happiness is momentarily.
