Quote# 62406

I've said this before, and I'll say it again:

You have absolutely no "research verified facts" on the Creation --- none whatsoever.

You don't even know where to start, or what to look for.

So you can preach to me all day about how ignorant I am when it comes to the Creation --- I happen to understand it, because the Bible says I will if I'll accept it by faith.

Show me one thing your instrumentation can show me that disproves the Creation week.

In fact, until you can build a machine that can do this:

... I'll consider you guys just as ignorant.

Accepting unquestioningly != understanding.

So not understanding something means understanding something...

Gotcha...

"... I'll consider you guys just as ignorant."
Given the mental acuity you've displayed in previous posts, I'll take that as a compliment.

Ignorance implies that you don't know any better. It's a safe bet to say you're really bloody fucking stupid AV.

I liked you better when you were calling yourself ignorant.

If stupidity equalled holiness, AV could make me believe in a god again.

Wait wait wait, is he claiming that the only way we can prove to him that creationsim is bullshit is to build a machine that CAN reproduce miracles?

The entire point is that your miracles are impossible and are a pack of lies. If we could do them then that would be evidence FOR creationism. The fact that no one can do any of those things is in fact evidence against creationsim.

If irony was a fruit, we'd all be having smoothies right now.

Ignorance - lack of knowledge, awareness or education

Faith - Belief in an idea for which there is no proof

Someone who claims to have knowledge about a subject without any evidence to back up his knowledge is ignorant.
Someone who believes in a subject without any evidence has faith.

Do you see what I am getting here? One who has faith is admitting ignorance. Like this dolt.

What?

"In fact, until you can build a machine that can do this:
...he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha"
We don't have a machine, but we do have quite a few psycho-active drugs can do that.
As an aside I've often wondered if Revalations was an early drug infused ramble.

That is a lame machine...

Seriously, chariots of fire and horses?

We got cars and aircraft. I can fly...

And your bitching about horses?

It's nice to see AV again firing on one cylinder.
So a machine that disproves creation week huh? I'd go for the Hubble telescope for starters.
Don't know about you but I'm looking forward to what comes out of the new improved version.

I believe because I understand that I believe and that is all I need to believe. You don't understand because you don't believe in what I believe that I believe so your wrong. So there Mr. Smartypants!

Of course there's no "research verified facts" on "the Creation." The universe wasn't created, it just is.

The burden of proof is on the one making the extra-ordinary claims, such as claims of faith with no evidence sans the word of long since dead people who may or may not have existed on every count to begin with, I fail to see why we need to build a machine to do anything for your approval, much less to imitate something that, to repeat myself, has no actual proof of happening to begin with!

And you obviously do not know where to get absolute irrefutable facts on the "creation" either, if you did you would most likely be telling the world about it on one of those creationist radios or television stations, or maybe some mainstream media, if it's truly irrefutable I'm sure you'd have no issue getting some serious air time, so please, show us your facts, until then, lolreligion.

Well, we have drugs that can induced hallucinations as well as we can induce hallucinations by the electric stimulation of certain regions in the brain.
There is no reason why said hallucinations couldn´t involve vanishing mountains full of horses and chasriots of fire ;)

Well, there is a movie called "Chariots of Fire", so all we need to do is put DVDs of that into a bunch of portable DVD players on a mountain, and we're halfway there.

Show me one thing in creation week that appears on my instruments.

Build a machine that actually performs miracles? You know there's no proof those miracles happened in the first place, don't you?
By the way, burden of proof is on you.

I am guessing that one instrument - the irony meter - may well be working overtime during Creation Week.

Um... ever been to the movies. If you open your eyes up there, you can see far more interesting things with just as much, or even more factual value.
