We didn't torture at Auschwitz, the final solution works or else it would not be done.

A wise man said
I doubt he was all that wise, but go on.
Torture has been redefined by the left.
tor·ture
–noun 1. the act of inflicting excruciating pain, as punishment or revenge, as a means of getting a confession or information, or for sheer cruelty.
2. a method of inflicting such pain.
3. Often,
tortures. the pain or suffering caused or undergone.
4. extreme anguish of body or mind; agony.
5. a cause of severe pain or anguish.
I dunno, we seem to have the same definition we used to.
We don't torture at Gitmo.
Um, you know the rape, sodomy, beatings and humiliation of detainees in Abu Ghraib? Those tactics were sanctioned by the Bush administration and used in Guantanamo Bay under General William G. Boykin, and he brought them to Abu Ghraib.
If we drape an Israeli flag around a terrorists shoulders, and threaten to send pictures home to his friends...the left calls that torture.
If we show puppet shows to Gitmo detainees about how its wrong to kill...
the left calls that torture.
Turning up and down a standard air conditioner is not torture, but it gets these guys to talk.
Yes,
that's it: puppet shows, draping them in Israeli flags and messing with the thermostat!
If they didn't talk under such pressure, we wouldn't be doing it.
False confessions, asshat. To quote "Nice Guy Eddie" from the movie "Reservoir Dogs":
"If you fucking beat this prick long enough, he'll tell you he started the goddamn Chicago fire, now that does not necessarily make it fucking so!"
America doesn't torture.
See the above photos, you shitstain of a human being.
We will aggressively interrogate.
You know, the Khmer Rouge "aggressively interrogated" prisoners in much the same fashion.....
And I'm not ashamed that we do. Nor am I a lesser Christian for believing that.
"In everything, therefore, treat people the same way you want them to treat you, for this is the Law and the Prophets." -Jesus Christ, Sermon on the Mount
The people in Gitmo are prisoners of war taken from the field of combat. They are some of the most evil people on earth.
They haven't even been charged with a crime, you dolt. How do you know if they're evil?
There is no pie in the sky.
But there IS an invisible man in Heaven....

If they're prisoners of war, they're protected by the Geneva Conventions, which bans torture explicitly. Your demigod Bush and all his cronies are war criminals, and are as evil as the people at Guantanamo, if not more so.

During World War 2, Japan used waterboarding on American prisoners. The people responsible were convicted of war crimes and executed by hanging.
I'm guessing that Buzzardhut would have agreed that waterboarding was torture if he had been around in 1945...

sigh. everything about this is sad. Its sad that this happens (those pictures nearly brought me to tears, DevilsChaplain) but its sad that there are people like Buzz out there defending and calling for it.

It makes sense. After all, it's totally somewhere in our Constitution that any international treaty we sign, like banning the use of torture, is just for pretend.

It's been a while since I've seen a quote by this warmongering, internet toughguy. Nice to see you haven't changed Buzzardshit. Anyways, why don't you go volunteer to be "agressively interrogated" if you don't think it's that bad. Go on, no one will stop you. Oh, what's that, your ok. That's what I thought. I bet your the type of guy that watches baseball and criticizes a player for swinging through a 100 mph fastball even though your sorry ass wouldn't hit a beachball off a tee if you swung with a chair. It's easy to talk tough when your're an outsider looking in buzzardshit. Now bugger off and go fap to some rapture porn. Leave issues which are way over you head to people who don't have a black and white view of the world and who actually have a sense of morality.

One of the big problems with torture is that the strong will say nothing and the weak will say anything.
"Aggressively interrogate" is simply the nice-sounding code words being put on torture to mask it from the public.
Any religion which allows torture stinks on ice... so that would be essentially all of them. You're not just a lesser Christian, you're a lesser human.

I'm surprised your tongue doesn't turn black and fall out from all that lying, Buzzardcunt:
1) Water-boarding is torture. If you weren't a wannabe war criminal yourself, you'd have recognized that fact already.
2) Torture is barred by the Geneva Convention.
3) The people at Gitmo were never classified as POWs, but rather as "enemy combatants." The difference: the former are protected by the Geneva Convention, whereas the latter are not. And there's a reason the Bush administration made that distinction.
4) I hope you enjoy your stay in Gehenna when you die, you rotten fuck - because remember, you're repaid by God measure for measure, and then some. If you hate your brother in your heart, you're guilty of murder - and if you love torture...

Again, when it was done to US soldiers, Waterboarding was considered torture and prosecuted as a war crime. Do we owe the convicted an apology?

Hey, let's use these techniques on this guy until he starts to cry its torture.
He seems to forget that people will say ANYTHING to relieve them of being humiliated and stressed. They do it all the time in police interrogations, and they don't even physically harm them, they just mess with their minds a bit.

When the Japanese waterboarded American soldiers it was torture.
When the Bush administration waterboarded Muslims it wasn't torture.
The right redefined torture to be "Whatever it is we're doing? It's not torture."

You know how so many fundies say "If I didn't believe in God, I'd go out and murder the first person I saw etc etc"? I always took that as a bit of hyperbole to try to make atheists look bad, but now I'm starting to think that underneath that "moral" exterior, they are actually itching to cause other people serious physical damage, and don't want anyone taking this "righteous" opportunity to do so away from them.

No, no it's not torture, the Chinese book on "aggressive interrogation" we got in the 50's which we rebranded and used as a guide for interrogators at Guantanamo contains no instructions on how to torture at all!
Nope.
Except when they used it on us.
Then it was bad and stuff.
yeah.
