Meh...christian college/islamic college...same difference. Either way you get a biased education that relies on the supernatural, I really don't see much difference.

I would protest this, I don't like any religious schools going up. And I would also protest against the Christian protesters protesting on religious grounds to not have the Islamic college there.
But before protesting I would find out how quality the college is going to be, there are plenty of good schools with a religious bent, can't be prejudicial.
But, yeah unless this was going to be a top-notch college I would protest. Just not with the Christians.

Considering that Christianity is responsible for the Crusades, Inquisition, Salem witch mass murders, the whole Irish civil war thing, Ku Klux Klan and many of the rest of the world's ills, there should be people picketing Catholic and "bible" colleges every day of the freakin' year.
We certainly don't need another institution that will teach hate and intolerance. We already have enough Christian universities in this country teaching just that.

He's right to be concerned, the Christians won't have the monopoly when the television news and current affairs shows need a non-degree to make the religious zealot viewpoint look valid, they can have a Muslim now, how vogue would that be?

Why is an explicitly islamic college to be protested but an explicitly christian one isn't? You cna't have it both wys, either there is freedom of religion and expression, or it's Christianity uber Alles . Which one has the backing of the constitution and the full force of US law?

And they have every right to do that, just like you do. That's what really twists your nipples isn't it? That any group who has contrary beliefs to your own is allowed to express those beliefs and theres nothing you can do to silence them. You just can't stand that there is an open forum of ideas that you don't have total control over. Your brand of religion longs for the days when it could tell people what they were going to believe... or else.

It's so funny to hear them saying how all other religions are hateful and intolerant, when they're even more hateful, intolerant and bigoted than anyone else.
They just don't went exploding themselves in suicide bomber attacks because they believe that suicide is against the lawns of their god.
You've never been to a mosque, have you, HisAlways? Well, I have. I went with a good friend on Eid-al-Fitr last year. The people there were some of the nicest, most accepting people I have ever had the good fortune to meet. We went to the English service, and the talk was all about how as a world community we must work to achieve peace. Afterward, everyone wanted to make sure I felt welcome, and there was a big party buffet. It was very fun, and I did not feel awkward because I was not Muslim at all.
Now I'm sure that if I ever went to your church, I'd be treated to a sermon about how evil Muslims and atheists are, and then if anyone found out I was an atheist you'd throw me out. Now who sounds more intolerant?
Also, if you guys can have Liberty University, Oral Roberts University, and Bob Jones University, why can't the Muslims have a college too?

No, FUNDY institutions teach hate and intolerance. Islamic colleges teach Islam, just like Christian colleges teach Christianity.
