Fundies in a Nutshell: If reality disagrees with the Bible, deny reality.
As Augustine said, denying what people know to be true just makes a Christian look like an idiot.

"Questioning what is being told instead is a better choice rather than blindly believing the dinosaur story."
I agree, that's why my primary school showed us a series of fossils as well as photos and vidoes of when and where they were found.
It is why I insisted on learning about the fossilization process and how we know about "the dinosaur story".
Question what you're told, but when you're shown the evidence don't be closed minded.

"The dinosaur industry"
LOLWUT
And yes, it is all a conspiracy against your precious literal interpretation of the Bible and in favor of evolution. A conspiracy in favor of evolution that resulted in the finding of dinosaur fossils a century or two before the theory even came into existence. I am guessing the Illuminati helped to coordinate things to overcome that particular handicap, with the help of the time travel device that they were able to salvage from the alien spacecraft that was destroyed in the Great Interplanetary Laser Battle of 2043. All part of the plan.

Or maybe, just maybe, the possibility exists that the bible is the hoax.
Dinosaurs were discovered before Darwin developed his theory of natural selection, so unless they were going for some preemptive strike just in case, I doubt dinosaurs were 'created' just to further your so-called evolutionary conspiracy.

I'm sorry, but my brain just went kaput when you mentioned 'the dinosaur industry'.
Besides, I thought you chaps thought dinosaurs lived with humans, a la The Flintstones and Kent Hovind?

"The dinosaur industry"
For a lot of Christians (most) that's God. Some Christians deal with reality
If by "The dinosaur industry" you mean there's people faking it all, prove it. Prove one fake from the scientific world because they find and proves the fakes themselves. Remember the Shroud of Turin tests and they won't allow any more testing anymore? FAKE

"I am unaware of any evidence or reason for absolutely believing dinosaurs ever were alive on earth."
"The past existence of living dinosaurs has not yet been proven."
"Issues should be carefully considered for the sake of good science."
David has endeavoured to make it very clear he has never been to a museum. He has also succeeded in breaking my irony meter with that "good science" line, damn him.

Ever notice that the only people who are screaming to make a choice between evolution and the bible, really, are the ones who would have you only believe the bible?

"The choice between believing the word of man, the evolutionists, or the word of God, the Bible, is a matter of faith."
It is not. It doesnt take faith to believe in something that is proven many many times.

"The possibility exists that living dinosaurs never existed."
And how did you come to that conclusion?
I'd say the possibility of that being true is just about nil.
""Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth” (Mark 9:23)."
Uh huh. Then believe you can fly and jump off a cliff. Better yet, prove you have faith the size of a mustard seed and move a mountain for me.
"The dinosaur industry should be investigated and questions need to be asked."
Investigated? By who exactly? And questions are asked nimrod. How the fuck do you think science works?
"I am unaware of any evidence or reason for absolutely believing dinosaurs ever were alive on earth."
Holy fuck. Bones you dimwit, bones! They dig them out of the ground all the damned time. And it's not like they're hiding them. You can go to any natural history museum in the world and see them yourself. Hell, you can buy the damned things or even dig them up on your own.
"The possibility exists that the concept of prehistoric living dinosaurs has been a fabrication of nineteenth and twentieth century people possibly pursuing an evolutionary and anti-Bible and anti-Christian agenda."
Yes. Far more likely than, you know, they existed.
"The past existence of living dinosaurs has not yet been proven."
You can't be serious.
"Questioning what is being told instead is a better choice rather than blindly believing the dinosaur story."
Try that with your Bible. You wont get anywhere questioning reality like that.
"Issues should be carefully considered for the sake of good science."
Issues? What issues?
""O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called” (1 Timothy 6:20)."
I find it ironic that a warning against succumbing to "profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called" is contained in the Wholly Babble. I wonder if it's some sort of authorial joke?
"The choice between believing the word of man, the evolutionists, or the word of God, the Bible, is a matter of faith."
And the existence of dinosaurs is a matter of fucking reality. Unfortunately for you, reality trumps faith every time.

Why does everything interesting for its own sake always have to be an attempt to destroy Christianity? People have known of dinosaurs for much longer than you think. Finding fossils is not limited to the last 200 years, not even close.
As for the verse, well, I think I prefer, you know, the -whole statement- (KJV, v20-21):
"O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called: Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen."
Which is to say ignore people who are wrong about "the faith". . . not so sure how you tell that, especially then before there was a Bible, but yeah. (It is also worth noting that science here seems to be a word meaning "knowledge" not the branch of philosophy we call science. The word science comes from Latin meaning "knowledge" and was not used in 1611 the way we use it now [language evolves!].) Evolutionary theory and the physical pieces of dinosaurs are not a commentary on "the faith". They neither claim to be nor pretend to be.

You don't have to believe the word of man. You can go to a museum and study the evidence for yourself. You are completely without excuse.
