Adding 'Our forefathers said..' to the beginning of your sentence does not mean that 1) it will always matter and 2) that we are required to believe you.
The founding fathers believed slavery was okay. Should we revert to that as well?
And didn't they flee to and found THIS land in order to ESCAPE from Christianity's thorough death-grip it had on Europe?

Actually, it has everything to do with The Constitution and civil rights. The Constitution specifically states that there will be no religious test to hold public office. Granted, some of the attendees at the constitutional convention refused to sign it, in part, because of this. However, enough of them did for it to be submitted to the states for ratification.
So lets look at your assertions again. The first sentence is a lie. Your second sentence runs counter to the equanimity that America is supposed to stand for. And your third sentence, well, that's just stupid.
