The reason we went to war against Iraq is because THEY fought US! You're right, though, religion is bad. I'm against religion. That's why I'm a Christian.

1. You went to war against Iraq because your former President lied about there being WMDs in Iraq and linked the whole issue to 9/11.
2. Christianity is a religion no matter how much you wnat to kid yourself it's some special relationship with a deity that other religions don't have.
3. Stop lying to yourself.

There are people, who still believe this shit?
Germany didn't start WWII. Of course it was
attacked by Poland
, so Germany is totally innocent...
P.S. Sorry, I forgot the </sarcasm> tags...
5/30/2009 2:19:52 AM
Do these people actually live under rocks or something? I always just thought it was a figure of speech, but now I wonder...
5/30/2009 2:26:41 AM
Reality check, Iraq NEVER attacked America(last time you saw their army in New York?), and Christianity is a RELIGION. Come back on August.
5/30/2009 2:53:37 AM
Reality: Check it out sometime, dips*it.

It amuses me in a kind of dark way that these guys just don't seem to get that the Fundie Muslims hated Iraq under Saddam Hussain more than they hate it now because, although he was a despotic and totalitarian nutjob Saddam didn't subscribe to their particular brand of lunacy.
The other darkly amusing thought is to note that these guys forget that it was the US and her Allies that backed Saddam Hussain in the Iran Iraq war and those same nations sold him the weapons that were confiscated at the end of the first Gulf war.
Plus, let's not forget the horrific mess that the US and selected Allies caused in Iran when they sold the Shah down the river...
(Yes I am aware of the role the UK played as an Ally, this rant, with additions, has been employed in the past to those claiming that the UK has a spotless past. In both cases (the UK and the US) I do feel that more good has been done than harm, but all aspects must be remembered to truly learn the lessons of the past.)

What are you, 13?
5/30/2009 4:05:24 AM
I don't know how old you are, but just think, you have to live in this barren landscape for the rest of your life. Your only chance is to somehow find a way back to reality. We hope one day that you will join us.
Psst! We're over here. Planet Earth. Third out from the sun. Turn left at Mars and head for the bright, shiny, ball, you'll spot us on the way.

Christianity is a religion, no matter how much some of you Christian want to think it's a relationship with God and not a religion.
5/30/2009 5:52:55 AM
Er, the Romans and early Christians thought Christianity was a religion. Romans called it 'religio illicita', and illegal belief.
5/30/2009 6:30:38 AM
Dude, you were ALIVE during the last ten years. How can your basic understanding of events be so... dead?
5/30/2009 6:59:36 AM
What the fuck???
Unless you are an Iranian, you are full of shit.
Christianity is a religion.
And the conquest of Iraq is pure naked imperialism..
5/30/2009 7:18:21 AM
Yes I remember the dark day when Iraq invaded Ohio!
5/30/2009 7:21:16 AM
NEWSFLASH! The majority of the 9-11 hijackers were Saudi! Why didn't we go to war against THEM??? Oh, right, because your Great God Bush was too busy liplocking with their king for oil!!!
5/30/2009 7:21:19 AM
The reason we went to war against Iraq is because THEY fought US!
When a country doesn't wholly capitulate to america's every demand it's still not fighting against us. Iraq never attacked the US. There were no Iraqis involved in 9/11 or any other terrorist attacks. In fact the case against Iraq was so non-existant that the Bush Administration had to resort to falsification, blatent lies, and outright forgeries in order to claim a
, and had to resort to strongarming our allies to go to war with us because they knew the Bush Admin's reasons were bullshit.
So please tell me, when did Iraq make an attack on the US? And if they did why wasn't that used to justify the Iraq War instead of the flimsy and fabricated reasons that were actually used?
You're right, though, religion is bad. I'm against religion. That's why I'm a Christian.
Silly fundie, christianity is a religion. Just because you say it isn't doesn't mean that's the truth. Christianity has rituals, clergy, denominational schisms, the whole nine yards. Christianity is either a religion or a cult, but it certainly isn't a "relationship" If it were then why would you have used title "christian" rather than just saying "
Oh I'm just friends with that dude over there
5/30/2009 7:31:23 AM
what !!, is it opposite day again ??
5/30/2009 7:51:46 AM
The reason you wrote this is because we were all laughing at it.
If Christianity is not a religion, then you should not mind if your churches are taxed. Heavily.
5/30/2009 8:02:14 AM
The reason the Iraqis fought us was because WE INVADED THEIR COUNTRY! Why is that so hard to understand? If we hadn't invaded, they would not have been fighting us. I suppose you're referring to 9/11? Do you know how many of the hijackers were from Iraq. Not a single one. Bush and friends just used the fear caused by 9/11 and one group of brown people to attack another group of brown people. I guess it worked.
By the way, christianity is a religion.
5/30/2009 8:02:45 AM
I'm sure you'll have a vid of the Iraq invasion of America, right?
5/30/2009 8:06:07 AM
Actually, as it has been pointed out by Jon Stewart, Keith Olberman, Bill Maher and others. Around 33% of the US declare themselves to be fundie Christians. Around the same percentage also believe Iraqis were among 9/11 hijackers, same percentage believe that WMDs were ACTUALLY found in Iraq, around 33% believe all WMDs were moved to Syria (Thank Sean Hannity for this “fact). And every year around 33% of Americans believe that the current year, be it 07 08 09 etc. that will be the year of the rapture and apocalypse.
5/30/2009 9:21:19 AM
He probably thinks that Iraq had something to do with 9/11. After all, they're all Muslims, what's the difference, right?
5/30/2009 9:54:24 AM
No, a small criminal organization attacked us.
5/30/2009 11:51:44 AM
It's not a religion? Well then, say goodbye to being allowed to use it for persecuting others.
5/30/2009 11:57:23 AM
Yes, and atheism is evil because Stalin was an atheist.
...I suppose it falls to me to point out that Stalin was also a history revisionist, right?
