You mean "the growth, learning and development of civilizations.... scholarship, science, education and learning." that has brought us to the brink of global collapse? Or, "the growth, learning and development of civilizations.... scholarship, science, education and learning" that brought the atomic bomb, and the MASS EXTERMINATIONS of the 20th Century? Or is it, "the growth, learning and development of civilizations.... scholarship, science, education and learning" that brought about the SLAUGHTER of OVER FIFTY MILLION INNOCENT BEINGS IN THE WOMB?

Tell you what, you sick and diseased God-less freak. I'll take the GOOD OLD DAYS, ANYTIME. >You< immoral and diseased freaks are responsible for MORE DEATH than ALL other causes COMBINED. You freaks are a VIRUS.

A population growing by several billion in about 200 years is global collapse? all our current problems are because were to succesful to keep up with demand for resources.
The atom bom has been used twice, and the scientists who worked on it seem almost universally opposed to its use. The greatest energy source in history was used for good and evil just like any other invention, fire lit homes but was also put on the end of crusader arrows. Hell most of the massacres since WW2 have been performed by third world nations with machetes and simple guns.
Yeah, because it was impossible to kill a fetus before the renaissance. No one ever jammed a stick up there or got punched in the stomach before the industrial revolution.

PS: why are you telling us this on quite possibly the greatest achievment of the much loathed modern world? Typing it up on a sodomites invention?

The term virus is overused. Exponential growth in itself is not bad.

By that logic, the *real* crime is that billions of farm animals are murdered each year for food, since they're far smarter than the fetuses being aborted . . . yet you don't see these people trying to stop that at all. They say a life is a life, but that's clearly not what they really think.

Well then GSCensored, I cordially invite you to no longer partake in "the growth, learning and development of civilizations... scholarship, science, education and learning."

You can start by getting rid of your computer, television, car, and appliances. You'd better just have your electricity shut off as well. Oh, and you'll need to look into replacing your doctor with one who doesn't ascribe to the germ theory of disease, possibly one who uses leaches to draw out the bad humours.

You'll also need to be growing your own food from now on, unless you can find a local supplier who doesn't use modern pesticides and fertilizers and who hasn't taken advantage of modern fertilization and hybridization techniques. Also, he would have to deliver via horse-drawn carriage, if that isn't too technologically advanced for you.

Now that I think of it, you should also move out of where you currently live, and possibly look into some sort of tent, shanty or cave to call your new abode. You wouldn't want to accidentally benefit from the years of scholarly endeavor in the fields of architecture, materials science, and engineering, to name a few.

Enjoy.

These are the types of people who probably think the only thing science has education and learning have ever created was the atom bomb and abortion.
They probably have no clue that the computer their on was created through science.

Western civilization has reached the point where it can support even slavering morons like you with a comfortable lifestyle. With science providing said morons with the ability to copiously rage, lie, spread disinformation, advocate unethical lifestyles, promote immoral attitudes etc. All at the easy touch of a few keys.

Of course, if you want to put your money where your mouth is GSCensored, there's nothing stopping you from shedding all your worldly goods and going off to somewhere wild to live, with no modern comforts or conveniences. Do you think you'll do that? No, of course you won't. Too much mouth and not even the slightest intent of backing it up.

By the way, by using the convenience of modern technology and science, I'd just like to note that you are a diabolical presence and a blight on humanity.

You fail to realize that what has driven centuries of war and killed millions of innocents has largely been religion of the fundamentalist nature...yours and the fundie Muslim kind, kid. So don't go getting on that high horse quite yet.

{You mean "the growth, learning and development of civilizations.... scholarship, science, education and learning." that has brought us to the brink of global collapse?}

If anything has brought us to the "brink of global collapse" it's people who are too stuck up their ass to admit that their are people different than them and are willing to murder innocent people because of it.

[that brought the atomic bomb, and the MASS EXTERMINATIONS of the 20th Century?]

See above.

[that brought about the SLAUGHTER of OVER FIFTY MILLION INNOCENT BEINGS IN THE WOMB?]

Unicef estimates that 26,000 children under 5 die DAILY of preventable causes such as sickness or hunger.
Shouldn't we be more concerned about the "innocent beings" we do have, instead of worring about feti?

"I'll take the GOOD OLD DAYS, ANYTIME."

If by the good old days you mean the the time when Christianity was law and it was okay to rape, kill, and enslave anyone who was different then you, then I'd have to say that's where you belong.
Maybe you should get off your computer, sell your air conditioned home and car, and move some forest somewhere and live like your in the "good old days".

[immoral and diseased freaks are responsible for MORE DEATH than ALL other causes COMBINED. You freaks are a VIRUS. ]

Yes, because everyone knows Christians never killed anyone. Tell me, how many witches were burned in the name of "atheism"? How many "Godless atheist freaks" Hijacked planes?

1. Being on the brink of global collapse is always a good kick in the ass for the ignorant among us. We need it to survive.
2. The atomic bomb (especially thermonuclear devices) are the closest we've come to emulating God's power source: fusion, as in what you see in stars.
3. Abortion is good when it saves the mother's life or when it prevents the birth of a baby that will never feel the slightest bit of joy and will feel pain for its whole life.

Don't blame science if there are fundamental flaws in human nature.
