Reading this thread and others similar to this subject makes my stomach hurt, my heart hurt, chills go down my spine as I think, God sees this abomination, it must hurt Him so very bad to see this happening. Oh, God has to be getting so angry, I really fear the wrath is going to be so horriable that we just won't be able to imagine. I read about the coming wrath, but I can't imagine....
Another thing... I am evidently very politically incorrect... they are Homosexuals NOT gays. Call it what it is. Gay means-Happy. Homosexual means-(well you know) This misuse of this word really makes me angry. When I am told, "Oh, you know so and so are Gay" I always respond with, "Oh, you mean they are homosexuals?" Call it what it is. Or, "The Gay rights blah, blah, blah" I come back with, "Oh you mean the homosexual blah, blah, blah" I always get a surprised look, a look of, "don't say that", a look of fear. hey, if we all did this, call it what it is, maybe, just maybe the shame will return and maybe then we would have a chance to get through to them to turn away from this abomination, they don't want to experience the wrath of God.

Your "god" sounds like a bit of a wuss. I have to say, if I were an omnimax entity I really can't see myself giving a damn what barely sentient unimportant little creatures would be up to on some backwater little mud ball in a fairly uninteresting section of the universe were up to. Whether or not I "created" them would make no difference.

Seriously, if this is some sort of issue with you then you've got much larger problems.

Perhaps it's not so much your words but attitude that garners that reaction. I tend to use "homosexual" instead of "gay" also, but only because it's more detached and "clinical" and less likely to bring the foam-spittle wrath of gibbering fundies down upon my head.

Awww. Is God gonna throw one of his trademark 2-year-old style temper tantrums? Does God become angry every time a homosexual act occurs? If He does, then He must be angry every single second of every single day, since a homosexual act is taking place somewhere on Earth every second of every single day. Without a hint of even a nanosecond of a reprieve when God may cease His anger. Continual homosexual sex and continual Godly anger. Snort! Harrumph! Disgruntlement!

Not only that, but for all the time in the past up until now, since homo sapiens evolved, humans have indulged in homosexual sex every second of every day, somewhere. So as well as being angry now, God has been angry since the beginning of humanity, every second of every single day.

Gay can also mean licentious and wanton. As in 'The fundie is a gay fellow whose eyes twinkle at the sight of a nubile young man'.

Another thing... I am evidently very politically incorrect... they are fundies NOT Christians. Call it what it is. Christian means - follower of Christ and His teachings. Fundy means - (well you know) rabid bag of human shittage, continuously hateful, bigoted, uneducated, pointless, ignorant, self-loathing and moronic.

Believe it or not, but if there is a God, the fundies are in for one big and nasty surprise.

And here I am yet again, because I forgot to say how amused I am at the thought of grown people getting worked up to the point of PHYSICAL ILLNESS over the fact that they cannot force their beliefs on their neighbors and fellow citizens. An old thread but worth adding, in relation to EvoPagan's clueful constatation. This reminds me of the "joy" propaganda from the WatchTower, where we see Jehovah's Witnesses claiming they're the happiest in the world. And some that may be unofficial, like when the "Happy" song was a meme, they had their version circulating on social media. I know them and the fact is that they're unfortunately not happy people, those who manage to leave the cult are much happier (although sometimes they first have to go through a temporary crisis phase).

How can one be happy when constantly filling their head with judgmental, hate and fear propaganda and are encouraged to think like that (indoctrination) and to promote that unhealthy attitude and arguments (proselytism)? And sacrificing much of their own life to a cult's profit. Those who are free from that read their writings and hear their speech and only see discouraging nonsense. It's sad, it's like a type of culture-bound syndrome.
